Pigment Trader-6
Skinner replenishes his supplies. His stock had run real low during his two weeks healing hiatus. His uber ride comes back loaded. There’s a white man waiting for him. He looks scared like he might bolt at any second . As Skinner is bringing in the last of the supplies the man makes his move.
“You are Skinner right?” he asks. Skinner keeps moving.
“Who’s asking?”
“I have heard alot about you. I need your help.”
“You sure I can help you?” Skinner asks. The man holds out his hands. Skinner ignores it..
“Yes you can,” the man replies.
Skinner leads the man to the park a couple blocks away from his apartment. They sit on one of the benches. Skinner looks calm while the man fidgets in his seat.
“My daughter has the skin sickness.”
“Damn sorry man. You just found out?” The man sighs.
“Couple days ago she suddenly fell ill.”
“Well you found me real quick,” Skinner says.
“Yes I got the means.” Skinner smiles.
“You know it will cost you.”
“Yes I am prepared to pay anything to see her get better.” Skinner stands.
“Just so you know we do it on my terms.” The man stands.
“Of course I am very grateful. Thank you.”
“Don’t thank me yet. I will contact you this time. And I need a down payment.”
