Lost Content Digest #2 - all proceeds go to featured authors!
Welcome to the Lost Content Digest! On LCD, we feature articles that have passed their first payout, are well-written and original, and are written by relatively new writers, but received little attention. If an article has passed a payout without any attention, it is extremely rare for it to ever get noticed again. That's where we come in!
Each issue of LCD features a handful of articles (this one has 5), and all of the SBD proceeds of the issue are distributed evenly to the authors of the featured articles. So if I receive a payout for this issue of $100 in SBD, I will send each of the following authors $20.
In no particular order, today's featured articles are:
@lily-da-vine tells about the paradise that is... Detroit?
@mister-t shares thoughts on consumerism.
@logic gives basic self-defense tips.
@xanoxt describes a road trip to Elista, a city in Russia I'd never heard of.
@necro tells how he came to love Iron Maiden at a carnival.
I encourage you to go read these articles and upvote them if you think they're particularly good! And as always, follow me if you want more lost content suggestions like these!
Payouts have been sent! This issue earned 93.16 SBD on its first payout, so each of the 5 authors received a payout of 18.632 SBD. Congratulations!
Stay tuned for more Lost Content!
What an amazingly wonderful idea! Keep up the good work--there are many authors out there who will forever be grateful to you for giving them this second chance!
Thankyou for sharing my work !:)
Thanks for sharing these authors :)
Thank you for republishing my article :-)
I came to this post from @dragonslayer109's post about his Pick of the Month journey, and I think this is an equally awesome idea. These are the kinds of projects that will help build up authors and push quality content. Keep at it, boss!
It's going to be all about finding benefactors like @dragonslayer109 has. My first issue had a payout around $0.50, which would not be a good enough incentive for me to keep doing this. :)
You see, it received quite a popularity this time!! Don't give up :-)
Ugh I almost forgot that movie existed lol
Thank you for transfer!
Hi! I am a content-detection robot. This post is to help manual curators; I have NOT flagged you.
Here is similar content:

Oh, @cheetah. This is a running series that will have similarities. Maybe you whitelist me?
Try editing the conten a little bit. Maybe it is too similar to previous one
Meh; I'll probably just hit up @anyx and try to get myself whitelisted.
its worthwhile to change the intro just a little bit. The same text in multiple posts has a negative effect on google's ranking algorithms. If cheetah sees it this way, google will to, IMO.
Really, I think that you should slightly change the introduction. I had the same problem with one of my articles which got botted by Cheetah. I corrected it and even got upvote from anyx :-)
It is for the sake of pupularity of this blog post too :-)
@sigmajin, we'll see what I can whip up. The goal is to automate 90% of the process so I can spend the majority of my time curating, rather than writing introductions.
Nice choices. Keep it going!
This is amazing ! I hope that you continue with these series of post... it'd be great if you could give a look to my content, I have posts on entrepreneurship and my series of Discovering Mexico Posts that come out every sunday, where I visit a new place and uncover stories. I'm a steemer from Mexico, so I can give a insider perspective of the beautiful country. Cheers. Keep on steemin'
I'll take a look! Thanks for the tip!
Thanks @biophil for taking the time.
@biophil, so glad I came across this post. Many good posts in here. Feel free to data mine my blog. I've been told from a few dolphins that there is a lot of undervalued content. Maybe something is up to snuff to make you next lost content. I'd be super grateful if I'm worthy of the cut. All the best to you!
I will take a look! Got anything you're particularly proud of?
Oh geez, like any author I'm proud of all my creations. I'd really like if you were the judge for yourself as you can decide what adds most value to you and the community.
I have posts on real estate investing all they way to short stories and many motivational and life hack pieces.
Thanks in advance for giving my posts a look. I've been grinding out content hard the past month. Actually off on vacation tomorrow morning!
