Contest| "Memories from the national meetup"

A day I will never forget in my life, the national meet-up was one to always remember because I had so much fun that day.
The memories from my country national meet-up will forever remain in my heart because I had the opportunity to learn from great and experienced steemians.

Of course, I was present at the just concluded national meet-up in my country. I couldn't miss the glimpse of those wonderful adventures, and I am very happy that I attended the meetup in my country.
This was the first national meet-up held in my country, and I was motivated to attend it. Indeed, it was memorable.

I decided to attend because I want to learn more a about the platform and also because it it the perfect opportunity for me to meet all the steemians we have been interacting with in the platform, I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw those great steemians, I was indeed honoured to be in their midst.

I have been hearing lots of beautiful things about the city of Uyo and how wonderful it looks, a city of full with wonderful people and also special delicacies that I have been craving to have for a very long time so going to uyo have always been on mind and immediately I heard about the national meet-up being held there I was very happy about it and i had to make preparations ahead of time to make sure i attend the meet-up.

The venue of the meet-up is our headquarters of steemians as we have more steemians living in Uyo than other cities, I had good time with my fellow steemians and they were all happy to see me physically after so many years of interacting online.
My going to uyo was never in vain as I received lectures from my country's representatives about the steemit platform. It will really help me a lot, and the adventures will always remain in my heart.

What was your best moment during the meetup? And if you didn't attend, tell us two things you have heard already about the meetup.

My best moments during the meetup were when I was introduced as a member of the high table, I was very shocked and surprised when I heard my name as I never expected it.
I was at the back chatting with my friends when the MC in person of @johnmitchel called me to come to the high table, I was the first person that he called, and people were applauding.

To be in the high table was proudly the best moment for me during that meet-up, I was honoured to be in that gathering among great steemians, other membership of the high table were @xkool24, @ngoenyi, @goodybest, @ninapenda, @ruthjoe, @benton3, @sahmie and @eveetim.

We took pictures together and it was really fun, the photo session after the meet-up was another best moment for me because I took photos with steemians that I have been looking up to when I first joined the platform.

Yes the steemian that I would have love to meet during the meet-up that didn't came was @lhorgic, he is a moderator in the Steem4nigeria community and also a professor in graphic designing, we have a very good relationship in the platform and I admire his personal, from the look of things he is a very wonderful and gentle guy.
I needed to grab some knowledge about how he does his designing and also other aspects of the steemit platform, unfortunately for me he wasn't present but I believe he will be present in next year's meet-up.

@sahmie he treated me like a brother, and I enjoyed the time we spent together, we were together in the same hotel, and I had the opportunity to learn more from him.
Honestly speaking, it was a pleasure for me to see that man behind all my wonderful post reviews.

Another steemian was @bossj23, although he wasn't physically present on the meetup day, but we all felt his presence because of his generosity. He gave gift to people, and they were all happy.
He came back the next day, and we had a good time together, honestly speaking. I really enjoyed his company because he is a very humble guy.
We discussed the steemit platform and also about our personal life, I will forever cherish those moments we both spent together.

@goodybest, the reason for the season, a very gentle and humble human who took everyone as her siblings, I was very happy when i saw her, and she was also happy to see me too.
I took different pictures with her to serve as memories. She is our country representatives, so seeing her physically was a huge moment for me.

@fortwis09 I call her the dance mistress, when I first saw her I was very happy and I didn't even knew that she is ma ngoenyi daughter, it was when we had a conversation she told me about her family and I was so surprised.
She is organising a contest in the steemkidss community about dancing, so meeting her physically was a good moment for me, I must confess that she is an amazing person.

@lusciouslucy, she couldn't believe her eyes when she saw me, because she only knew me on my traditional isiagu, we had some good conversation together and I was so her happy seeing her because I have admire her resilience and hardwork in the platform so I had to encourage her to keep up the good work and also remain consistent.

This represents unity amongst all Nigerian steemians. It was a successful and wonderful event, and seeing myself in the group photo means a lot to me.

You can see how my face look like they said something funny and I couldn't hold but laugh.
We were discussing how someone nearly ate their fingers while consuming their meals it was very funny, and the photographer just tool us unaware.
