Newbies Guide Report: Establishing 6 Newbies on Steemit

On this platform, there are lots of newbies who get signed up but barely know how to begin their journey as they have no mentors to guide them all their mentors give little or no attention due to time factor. As a newbie guide in this community, I'm not just took it up on myself to correct newbies when they post or refer them to newcomers community, I take them by their hand, follow them up, teach and encourage them to push further.

Some may have quit because they have tried so hard to get support by creating content to themselves but to no avail. I'm bringing up this post to give a report on the progress of newbies I shoulder my responsibilities on.

Although it has not been easy with me because of time factor, I still devote time to check out these ones who need assistance.

Like I said, I have a social media group and community where I am these ones and I don't just sit down waiting for them to message me. I look for them by scanning through the new commerce community and then offering free mentorship on the social media group to those lagging behind. On this social media group, a community is also pretty where the classes are held. The class do take the form of Videos, voice notes, pictures and texts used to enhance learning and increased level of understanding. In as much as this platform is concern, everything necessary to be successful is being taught and on a daily basis.

As I teach, they'll apply by posting on the platform until they become well ground. I also motivated them every morning and night before going to bed so they will not see reasons to quit even when support doesn't come. This teaching aids have proven effective and I'm deeply impressed by the outcome of the users who take up this mentorship. Some of them are;

@emmyjnr	Is getting support on his quality contents through booming and curation now but is still learning how to use good pictures and attach intriguing titles to his post.
@nsijoro	Is one vibrant Steemian that has chosen to become very consistent on his own. He has learnt the basics and rules to posting. At first he didn't get support for a whole week not until I helped him discovered what caused that. He has won an engagement challenge for the first time taking first place. Such an immense progress to follow up. Other users that were helped by this mentorship to remain active as well as stay consistent on the platform are; @jozzie90 and @samuelnkenta.

These users are now well-grounded on the platform although still learning. They can post quality contents on their own and get supported through this newcomers scheme. They also know that even if support doesn't come, they shouldn't stop creating contents. This has helped them look beyond looking for support on their posts which may lead to discouragement. It has also made me active because when I see them create contents everyday, I'm moved.

Most of those that chatted me up has completely removed their mind from steemit although I try Reviving back that interest daily. Seeing people grow on this platform leaves me with something to think about. When I was a newbie, I wandered that same way. I had no mentor and had no support on my posts because I didn't know how to go about the platform not until loving hands took me in a drill me to become the potential Dolphin I am today.

All thanks to being mentored. In the same vane, I choose to replicate the favour of being helped to grow by helping Others too who were once Iike me. I'm still in the lookout for newbies who need help. Let's see how this week goes.
