The Diary Game || 14-04-24 || Signing up two users on Steemit, Mentoring Steemians and Doing other activities

It was a Sunday morning. The sun was giving its scourge as it were behind pumped or triggered by something. This sunning was a early as never expected. I had a meeting to attend that day as usual and I had to be there by 7pm latest. The meeting was organised to teach us certain things of which one included staying awake.

Why was this topic deliberated on? Those are are religiously inclined and do go through the Holy book must have heard the story of Noah and the people in his days. These people were in a sort of spiritual slumber so to speak that they were eating, drinking and marrying until the flood came and took them all away. These people weren't alert to what was going to happen to them. They were busy with other activities, thinking their world of enjoyment can never come to an end.

We have this belief that they'll be a change of government which would make things better for all humans who aren't distracted by what the wold offers. Many today are bent on making more money, pursuing fame, and prioritizing entertainment more than their relationship with the person who give them life. Their being distracted by these things make them feel it's impossible that their world of enjoyment would actually come to an end. They are asleep figuratively and aren't awake knowing that the end time is near.

So this was an exhortation that whatever we're doing now, we should bear in mind that the times are on a countdown and whatever we do now determines our survival when they kingdom or government comes. After these words were dished out using the holy book as a backup, we took to departing to our different homes.

Activities at home

When I finally got home, I took to surfing the net and then shared what I learnt with my contact. There's this movie I later invested on and is titled A young time ago. This movie portrays a setup on someone's regretted past of which he lived to meet a coincidence that changed his life. The movie tells a lot about present day and was very emotional. It renders a very good lesson to those youths out there. Whatever they do now determines their future either positively or negatively.

After watching this touching movie, I took to preparing things for food before going out. We were to cook coconut rice that evening and arrangements were made for this coconut to be grounded. This I took to a nearby grinding place to be ground instead of using manual labour which can be very stressful. These are pictures of the cassava ground from the nut to shafts with the aid of the grinding machine.

After grinding, I took it home and then headed for the appointment I had that evening. There's this man who has been on my neck to see me in person so I can help him create an account in steemit. He was just bent on me doing this online and I had to keep to that appointment.

We had this meetup in a popular bar where drinks are sold and matches are viewed. We requested for seats and drinks, all sponsored by this man. I then took to explaining what steemit is all about to him while taking in some sips. He related that he was introduced to this platform a long time ago but his experiences with other online businesses that made him lose a lot of money cramped his positive view of making money online. He now doubted that possibility that's why he didn't joined when he was told.

I tried convincing him with solid evidence that steemit is far beyond what he could ever expect of a platform. The time he uses to share contents on Facebook for likes and comments would generate him a post that would earn him some cryptos and will also help promote his work since it's a social media platform.

He signed up with the username @ekpe01 as you can see on the picture shown. Later that night, a friend of his came all the way from a distant place just to create an account and get to know the platform better. She signed up with the username @rayedet and she has done her achievement 1 post, yet to be verified.

I left them in no time for my house as i was already running late. Before reaching the house, I took to purchasing some street food at an affordable rate including some fruits which I'll eat that night before going to bed.

When I got home, I took to teaching my students a important lesson which has to do with sbd conversion and joining of clubs. They are learning and also implementing. So far last month and this, I've been able to trained 8 users on this platform and they are growing steadily. That's how my day ended.
