Bunnies - Show Us Your California

This post is an entry into the weekly contest of @socalsteemit where we show our California.

The climate where I live in California is mild and is well suited for many animals, giving quite the variety of wildlife. There are lots of wild rabbits here but there are also many pet rabbits as well. We visited with some family that lives nearby recently and got to hang out with their bunnies... check them out:

Despite looking fairly large in the picture, these bunnies were fairly young at only a few months old. It seems like rabbits are the third most popular pet around here, after dogs and cats.

I think the bunnies are fun, but, personally, I am not interested in having any as pets! But at least my kids still get to hang out with some bunnies from time to time!
