"Let's do some creativity- WEEK 9 (Bed Construction Using Waste Carton, Paper & Waste Mattress)".

Greetings friends! How are you today? I believe you are all fine as I am. I am glad to present my craft on Bed Construction using waste materials today. I appreciate @jyoti-thelight for organising and sustaining this contest. It has really helped me to always think outside the box just to come up with something unique for the Steemit platform. Here is my presentation.

Materials For Construction

• Waste Carton
• Black Embossed Paper
• Red Embossed Paper
• Scissors
• Paper Cutter
• Waste Form
• Pencil
• Adhesive
• Thumb pin

Step 1
I began by constructing the sideboard. I cut a rectangular shape measuring 8 inches by 1.8 inches from a waste carton. I duplicated it because the sideboards are two.

Step 2
I cut a black embossed paper that can fit the sideboards, and I gummed them using adhesive.

Step 3
I constructed the headboard from a carton. The headboard measures 7.2 inches wide and 6 inches high. I also cut 3 pieces of I. 2-inch by 7.2-inch cartons and gummed them on the headboard to give it a design. I cut black and red embossed paper and used it to seal the headboard. I also cut a silver reflected paper and gummed it on the headboard to serve as a mirror.

Step 4
I gummed a red thumb pin at the top edge of the headboard.

Step 5
Here, I constructed the footboard. The footboard measures 2 inches high and 7.2 inches wide. I also wrapped it with a black embossed paper. Lastly, I gummed a mirror and surrounded it with 0.2 inches of red embossed paper.

Step 6
I fixed all the boards together to form the bed frame.

Step 7
I forme the bed floor. The bed floor measures 6.8 inches by 7.8 inches. The legs of the bed floor are 1.2 inches. I gummed the legs, and I braze them with a 0.5-inch wide carton.

Step 8
I mount the bed floor in the bed frame.

Step 9
I constructed the side drawers of the bed. The dimensions are 2.2 inches wide, 2.5 inches high, and 2.2 inches wide. I also seal it with black and red embossed paper. I used a red thumb pin to serve as the handle

Step 10
I fixed the drawer with the bed.

Step 11
Here, I formed the mattress of the bed. The mattress measures 6.8 inches by 7.8 inches just like the bed floor. I also cut a piece of old cloth to serve as the bedsheet.

Step 12
I mounted the mattress on the bed and covered it with a bed sheet. And this brought me to the end of the craft.

Conclusion
I appreciate God for the grace to complete this two-day craft. It was not easy for me, but I was able to complete the task. I invite @zisha-hafiz, @safdarali, @imadear and @sualeha to also participate in this contest.
