1947 - Demolition of the Tax Station building in Vale do Anhangabaú and Avenida São João.
Start of works to clear and widen avenues in the location, where we currently have Avenida Prestes Maia.
The history of the city of São Paulo occurs parallel to the history of Brazil, over approximately 470 years of its existence, compared to more than five hundred years of the country's existence. I'll share some images with you here on Steemit over time, I hope you like them.
