Cool weather is now prevailing here in the main island part of my country but I am protected from getting uncomfotrtably cold now
We haven't experienced cooler weather in the past few weeks but only now. The mountainous places gets more chilly and it had resulted in some crops to get ruined by developing frost considering that I know that there is a climate change, but maybe it is the effect of climate change where there is a disruption of the containment of cold climate from areas of the world near and within the earth's north pole like what is happening in some parts of USA. With a little research you will know what I meant.
The cooler months here in my country doesn't last long because the greater part of the weather here is either hot and humid if not went and rainy. Among the two which I mentioned, I dislike the wet and rainy because when it gets too bad, it then creates lots of disruptions and inconveniences particularly the widespread flooding because I will definitely have the issue of not being able to travel to and from my dialysis center.
Thankfully I can call my local church (MCGI.org) and ask for transportation assistance. If there will be any brethren to drive me to and from the dialysis clinic, they will phone-in the municipal ambulance service to drive me instead. But my church is the plan B because our barrio has an ambulance which we can call first to help me get transported during such times that streets are flooded and only vehicles with high ground clearance can pass.
Anyway, my room is now protected from the cold outside unlike before where it really gets cold so much that my hands and feet gets to feel numb. The roof of my house has some insulation installed so it doesn't get hot and cold inside our house now. It pays to really have such protection for the house because it will result in a comfortable living space for people living inside the house like what I am experiencing right now with our new house.
Taking a bath or shower during these cold months is now not a problem for me unlike before where I have to endure the cooler than usual water coming from the tap which is why when I finally get out from the bathroom I will almost have numb limbs. I can still remember being anemic years ago and then using the water in the early morning to shower/bathe in, my body ought to shutdown because being anemic makes the tolerance to cold temperatures worse.
But now since we had the water heater for the shower installed, I can just take a shower even if it is cold outside or if the water coming from the faucet is cold. I can comfortably enjoy hot showers now for as long as it takes. What is great is that the water we use in this house is "soft water", it has no more mineral and other residues in it which cause to ruin faucets, tiles, drinking glasses, etc., because it is now purified. Our skin now feels soft and smooth after showering plus I do not shiver anymore while in the bathroom because the water is hot and it makes the bathroom use more enjoyable than being a chore to do.
Well, I regret to have lived most of my life in a rather uncomfortable house. Our old house has no roof insulation so when the weather is hot, you can feel the radiating heat coming from the ceiling considering that there was a plywood ceiling below our corrugated steel roof. If it would rain it will be noisy inside the house. Then the old house only has two rooms for a six people family and even though my father was always away because he was working abroad when we were younger, the small number of rooms are not good enough for me and my brothers alone so I end-up sleeping in the Sofa.
It had gotten worse after the house went to decay and the flooring, ceiling, doors, and the bathroom got ruined by getting soaked in flood water from time to time. Had I not gotten the funds to improve the old bathroom, then the old house will not be good enough to live into. Thanks be to God the days living under a house in deplorable condition is now a thing of the past. We are now not embarrassed to receive guests and also them using the bathroom. Our house now is one of most beautiful homes here in my Barrio which my neighbors admire. But the most important thing is that I will not hear my mother to almost cry when it will rain because we now have a comfortable, safe, secured, functional, and presentable house that we can stay into until the sunset of our lives.

My room now is more comfortable and safe and it is cleaner too unlike when I was in our old house. I thank God for this blessing because me and my aging parents will no longer have a hard time dealing with such temperatures and bad weather.
