It is really sizzling hot now around here in my place but my own perspective about it is cheery and positive although I am drizzling over with my body and face
It has been a punishing week for me because of the heat of the day, some parts in my country is being hit by heat index of 42 degrees Celsius which is why the student's classes are done online now and not face to face as you would in a normal classes settings. The new normal now for learning via a physical face-to-face scene is that students are distanced apart and they should wear masks. I can tell you that wearing a mask at daytime is really hard or even in the evening because of the heat, it is harder to breathe and it can affect the student's cognitive and learning performances. So at least the classroom should be fitted with air conditioning unit otherwise with this prevailing heat, it will not be good to do classes as both students and the teacher will find it harder to cope because of this unusual heat that we all are suffering minus the people that are confined to their air conditioned homes in order to feel much comfortable but higher bills to pay when it comes to feeling the side-effect of your convenience and comfort. I myself couldn't get a break from this torture because of the way our house is made, too much heat is radiating from the walls particularly from the ceiling where the roof itself is rusty and is collecting extra heat from the sun. That is why of I would make an air conditioning set-up, I guess that I will be paying for more electricity because I assume that the air conditioning system will work harder because if the main factor I have already said above. For that reason I must have a better living space or a house with a better insulation so that it will not get too hot from the heat which will radiate from the roof and the walls.
I live in a place where there isn't any trees to protect the house from the direct sunlight. Our has is facing the southwest with more emphasis on the direction of the west where at daytime it would get all the sunshine where it would already get hot at around 8:30 am until late at night. That is why if you cannot afford an A/C unit and the ability to pay the electricity bills, you should at least have an electric fan to cool you off or have those "Swamp coolers" which can help you cope with this kind of punishing heat. But those swamp coolers are also expensive to operate as they consume more electricity compared to electric fans and you only truly benefit from them if the weather is hot but not humid not to mention the maintenance cost of the evaporator mesh and then supplying water continuously to the basin where the swamp cooler is taking water to make the mesh damp where the air travels through and make a cooling effect in the room. However, tit can only get the room cooler if the room is small or big enough for the capacity of the swamp cooler to efficiently cool the room and make it more comfortable for the person using it. I am guessing that it will work for me considering the high radiation of heat coming from the walls and the ceiling and despite that this heat is not a dry heat because swamp coolers are somewhat good for getting a cooler air to relive you with the desiccating heat coming from all around you because of the unusual heat which my country is recording where in former times there isn't anything like that happening but only nowadays where the only thing that causes it is climate change.
This heat is really causing me to be unproductive, it is because I rather choose to sleep the heat away rather than write my world in these blockchain social media platforms. But my love to write posts makes me to do it and I assume that I can be able to write more if the environment is better or cooler for that matter. For one thing, the air conditioner was invented in the US to make the employees work much better, faster, and more efficient. That is why after the use of A/Cs in offices and other workplaces, it affected the productivity of the employees into a greater degree. It makes sense because I am already experiencing lack of air conditioning and it does affect my own "productivity" in the type of niche that I am involved with where I am "compensated" for the "work" done with a caveat that I should have to do it almost everyday or else I will not earn anything because of how blockchain social media works. But aside of affecting my productivity when it comes to the effect of the unusually hot weather, I have to keep in mind that I needed this kind of weather to help me out flush extra water from my body. It is a very big deal for me to use mother nature's power to make me rather "feel well" with regards to making an outlet for those extra water from my body so that I will not get too waterlogged and affect my breathing. So there is these two thing running on my mind when it comes to hot weather, be comfortable and get more productive regardless of paying extra for the electricity bills, or suffer the heat but make me feel better when it comes to helping my body getting rid of extra water (and other toxins) to help me breath better. But for this instance I would rather choose the latter because it comes to no extra cost and choosing the former seems to be not the time for now.
