It is because a few months ago the hospital had waived the charging of extra fees to the patients for their second and third dialysis session within a week if the patient had decided to opt-in for the three to four times a week dialysis session. But the patients believed that it was a permanent system so in turn, many of them had opted for three to even four times a week of having their blood cleaned which is actually perfect as it gives the patient less restrictions about their food and fluid consumptions.

However the health insurance that we all use only has a limited allocation of dialysis slots because it gives us 144 sessions per year which is actually fantastic as it saves lives of many patients. However if you would go for a more frequent sessions, then you will have to use your dialyzer more frequently as well. Here in my country we re-use the dialyzers because it is a very expensive medical tool for cleaning the blood and almost all of the patients cannot afford to have it replaced every dialysis session unlike in the west where the standards are far greater compared here in my country where I reside. Now, my co-patients had consumed their allocation, so now they have to pay cash which is really a new burden to them and their families.

We are privileged in having a good government health insurance here in my country, however we are still not totally free from expenses which still a real burden to our pockets.

But for all of the patients, there will be no discounts anymore because for every visit no matter how frequent you will go you will have to pay the extra fee of 500 PHP or around $8.96 in dollars equivalent. So now many are in trouble in paying for their sessions in the coming days particularly those that had totally used their allocations. Even the amount of the extra charge per session is actually a heavy burden enough for most patients so obviously the regular dialysis fee will be a very bad thing to happen especially for those new patients that have problems in consuming liquids and those that really have no funds to use for their medical needs.

Anyway as for my Bittrex verification issue, it is not yet finding a resolution. The problem lies about the photo of my ID being blurry as I was told. Then I was able to get passed to the face scan stage, however the photo in the I.D. got rejected, so I am really fuming in frustration because the problem is not solely coming from me but also about how the verification system from Bittrex is not working normally because as I have stated in my previous post, the similar verification system using my own Smartphone for that matter is working fine from the digital bank and e-wallet services that I applied for.

This escapade with Bittrex had caused me and will still cause me a lot of trouble and money. I had ordered an online account of my birth certificate as a requirement for passport application and then I told my sister to print my Application form for that purpose. As for other requirements they are easier to accomplish like my ID and the photocopies of it.

It does suck to get a needless document like a passport in my case where I have no plans of travelling. However because of Bittrex I will have to force myself in acquiring one.
