My Cat Resting On The Drawer

Well, she is resting in the picture I took this morning, but my cat is busy with a mouse in her mouth right now. Now most times I wouldn't mind, but she brought that mouse in the house.

When I seen what she was doing and the mouse was in her mouth, I asked her to come outside, but she didn't want to. Well, she has a mind of her own.

So I just left her in the kitchen and she has that mouse in her mouth, then she lets it go and it runs a little then she puts it back in her mouth again. Well that gave me the idea to write about my cat and the mouse today.

So my cat is playing with her food and I wish she would just eat it up.

There was one time that she brought in a big rat. At that time she wounded it pretty much and I thought it was close to death and my cat would eat it eventually, but the next day I seen that rat running around the house with its wounds.

I imagine that the rat eventually died, but I didn't find it. Maybe my cat ate it when I wasn't looking.

At times when I didn't have a cat I would use mouse traps and rat traps. I still have some, but I don't want to put them out as I don't want my cat to accidentally step on one.

Have you ever seen some different rat traps on Youtube? I seen one where there is a ramp to a bucket of water and it leads to a slippery rolling stick that leads to a bunch of peanut butter at the middle. Well when the rat goes up the ramp then steps on the rolling stick it falls in the water before it can make it to the peanut butter. Then they just drown.

I seen another were a guy used a bowl with I think peanut oil and there was a way for the rats to get to the bowl, but to get to the oil it would have to step in as it was to far to reach from the edge of the bowl.

Well as soon as the rat stepped in now it is trapped as it is trying to run out of the bowl, but its paws are so slippery that the rats look like they are on a treadmill. The thing is that other rats seen the ones trying to get out, but the other rats on the edge kept on stepping in. The guy caught a lot of rats that way.

Well, anyway I hope that my cat hurries up and eats that mouse so I don't have to worry about it.

Let's end with a scripture, Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth? Ecclesiastes 3:21.
