"My Regrets And Mistakes So Far"
Hello great minds,I welcome you all to my blog. You know in life, things don't actually go as planned but in the end, everything happens for a reason. Join me as I write about my regrets and mistakes so far.
Hmmmm, in our world today, being alive is underated as we are all beclouded with material things of the world. But there's a popular saying that health is wealth.
One out of many goals I achieved this year was my health. Back then in school, I am this type of person who doesn't take my health serious even if am dying, but nobody was there to advise me. I never knew that sickness keeps pilling up in your system once you refuse to treat it as at when due. Earlier this year,I was sound and strong but all of sudden,I became so down that I could not do anything, my first time of visiting a hospital for check-up, guys, what was discovered in me was too much that I became scared that I might die.
You know when sickness have eaten deep into your system, it's very difficult to treat easily. At this juncture,I had to give all I had just to make sure that I treat myself and get rid of everything disturbing my system and to be honest,I have never felt as strong as I am now before.
So if you ask me the most important of the goals I have achieved so far,I would gladly say that my health is my biggest goal so far. In as much as I am healthy, all things are accomplished already 💯.
I set quite good number of goals this year, some where accomplished while many are still pending. This year I planned to go for my compulsory one year National youth service which I was supposed to go by August, but due to financial problem I had to prospond it to November, and now November is here with us,am yet to clear myself from school. This only means that I will be going for my service come next year 2025.
Another goal I didn't accomplish was setting up my own shop for my shoe production. This year is among the years I won't forget in a hurry. I planned on renting a shop, buy few equipments for my shoe production but lack of finance due to lack of job has prosponded it to further notice. But one thing is certain,we keep pushing.
Anytime I remember this,I feel so so bad. You know after school,I wanted to stay back where I schooled because that's where I learnt how to make shoes, had it been that I am in Abia state by now,I won't be complaining of lack of finance as I am complaining back here in Rivers State. Though it was not entirely my fault,I wasn't having enough money to rent an apartment after my rent got expired in my school lodge,so I had to travel back to porthacourt with the hope of going back. But till date,I have not been able to go back. This is my biggest regret this year Soo far.
Of a truth, mistakes are bound to happen. Like I said earlier,I made a mistake of not staying back where I had the opportunity to raise funds and start my life but I was too carried away. Had it been I managed by staying with my friends till I get a place of my own,the story today would have been different. But see me I wanted to stay on my own.
The lesson I learnt was never to be too comfortable while trying to rise up as a man,you have to leave your comfort zone. Some will say fake it till you make it but I say keep it real till and after you make it.
Thanks for your time.
I am inviting @saintkelvin17 @patjewell and @kuzboy
Is very important for us to achieve our goals and I also hope that you manage to go back to the place you studied so that you can do more things to give you money there.
Thanks for the invite, it seems your first hashtag isn't spelt correctly. Also use the hashtag burnsteem25 since you set 25% beneficiary to null.
Thanks for the correction.
