Now on to the content...

This will be a short one: These three fellows right here were among the most feared entities in Greek Myth; their size alone was enough to frighten even the most cunning of warriors, and even the Olympian gods feared them to a degree! That is why the ruler of thunderstorms and their king, Zeus (son of one of them by the way!), imprisoned most of them beneath the earth in Tartarus... These are the Titans! Destined to one day break free from their imprisonment and wreak havoc upon the worlds of men and gods alike during the so-called Titanomachia. So, can you guys guess who each of them are?

I saw you liked my Quantum Story... Thought you would like to know that this stuff is also in my story... I haven't posted all of it publicly yet. but part of the MEQUAVIS basically creates some pretty wacky retrocausality stuff, including the gods of old and all that nonsense.. Still ironing out how to explain it proper though. I'm close though... I have some old old files up on the old section of my website you might like, the control system of the MEQUAVIS is modeled after the 9 realms of Asgard, mixed with Dragon ball hierarchy, combined with greek/norse mythology opening up plot holes to allow everything else in between to exist within the virtual multiverse or cyberspace-time...ie, the matrix, marvel universe, different gods, whatever.. howard the duck even for all I care :P

http://nanocheeze.com/ncz/multiverse-theory

Also the way that Warcraft is explaining the planets and the gods and titans in their story is pretty cool with a planet being a seedling of a titan is pretty damn sweet if you haven't seen that yet, I was hoping to grab a hold of that on some level as well...at least within the multiverse...

Oh I have seen it... Azeroth turns out to be a titan rather than a planet per se, as well as Argus and the rest... there is some other stuff you could use: the way Blizzard intertwined all their realms in the Nexus! You know, turns out Sanctuary (from Diablo) and the planets of the Koprulu Sector (like Mar Sara, Aiur, Char and even Earth itself) from StarCraft are all connected to the ones from WarCraft as well...! I'll try and find an old image I saw some years ago about it...

Thanks for passing by, the Greeks did not have a clear version of it (only maybe Tartarus, Earth and Olympus?), but the Nine Realms of the Norse (Vanaheim, Alfheim, Jotunheim, Midgard, Asgard and the others) are a great way of seeing your concept! Also, Yggdrasil is central to that "theory"; literally holding all existence in its branches and roots. The Norns (keepers of the Well of Urd, which feeds the tree) as well as Sleipnir (which carries Odin through the trunk of it) seem important too... Look into those!

awesome, I'm glad to find someone that sees what I'm babbling about and gets it. A lot of people don't haha... but yes I was absolutely planning to tie in the world tree and some other stuff like that. Although, I'm starting to wonder if Azeroth is not Earth... or ancient past Earth.... or something like that.... But no I haven't seen that, but I have had similar thoughts myself and had assumed as much... I'd love to collaborate a bit on what I'm doing if you're interested. I want to make it a bit of a group/collaborative thing if possible and not just the rave ranting of one lunatics take on mythology and science and lore and imagination and existence :) I have my serious side with my real project and I have this not so serious imaginative story side that I do to vent my insanities away from infecting my real project :P And trust me, I have looked into and know a lot of that stuff. I'm trying to find a proper way to marry them all together, I'm closeish, just not at explaining it proper... but the pantheon would be a byproduct of this reality emergence system.... a necessary tool for dual purpose... lots of ways to go with it really...

Well, a Pantheon (like the Greek, the Norse, or even the Titans from WarCraft) would be a nice idea. You would have to define each of them rather well though. Or should I say, we? :smirk:

I would indeed like to be a part of that project! Sounds exciting. About Azeroth though, I fear not, Earth is a planet of it's own (or at least that is what Blizzard points at for the time being). The UED from StarCraft came from Earth; also, the Koprulu Sector is relatively close to Earth. Then, the Sector and planets like Azeroth, Draenor and Sanctuary are supposed to be in reach of each other. Which would suggest Earth to be different from Azeroth... Except it is like in your fiction!

Indeed Azeroth could be a past version of Earth IF Earth itself was the place of origin of cyber implants and bio enhancements (mentioned in the SC manual) and Azeroth a different OffShot of the same World... As in, something made it go in another direction, like the titan inside it for instance. The Earth, as a crazy side note, is theorized by some to be "empty" inside, like with a void or an abyss inside! :o

I know little of Greek mythology, but aren't these Oceanus, Cronus, and Crios?

Well you seem to know more than you think! Those are Oceanus and Kronos indeed, you only got 1 wrong, ----that is not Crios!
