Falling Back in Love with Steem Hop

Well I have decided today I wanted to play Steem Hop again after a rather long time and guess what... I completely forgot how fun Steem Hop is! Usually when I play a game I haven't played for a long time after a really long period it is clunky and you don't quite get the same sense of satisfaction you once did when playing however, it was completely different this time!.

The moment that the game came up on the screen I was already impressed with its simple colourful fun design that instantly brought me back to the reason why I loved playing this game in the first place. It has simple controls that are very easy to learn, although surprisingly quite challenging at the same time. It's the type of game where you're saying 'oh just one more go!' and then three hours have flown past and you've forgotten to do pretty much anything else.

So far, I'm on Level 4 which is pretty satisfying to achieve. There's definitely this reward system involved where you feel accomplished after seeing your level rise and your points go up. And although I haven't broken into the top leaderboard yet, seeing my name on it and having that desire to move up a little bit makes this game way more interesting.

What I'm enjoying about this game is the ease of getting back into the gameplay itself, but also that there is this competitive side to the game which doesn't really exist in a lot of those other jumping games you can find. You're not only trying to make it to the next score; you're also trying to pass whatever score you just previously achieved, and it adds another exciting aspect to the game. I think my only complaint, and I guess that isn't even a complaint is just how easily one can just jump back into this game even after such a large break. The controls are easy to get used to and for somebody who doesn't want to spend too much time learning how to play this game; they definitely can pick it up right away.

But anyway jumping back on here was definitely worth it I was right one of those stupidly fun easy games that is just super fun. It's really exciting that I'm getting to the higher levels, I want to see how high I can actually get on the board!
