How Is This Possible? 🤷
It's been awhile since I've posted about my African violets for a very good reason. Today however I have to share with you the latest.
It's known that African violets are changing colours and somehow it's unexplainable for me or I don't know enough to explain the phenomenon. Once I gave a white African violet to my cousin and after a few months she said it started to bloom and it was pink.
Today I'm going to show you another unexplained miracle.
This is more likely purple but the camera is cheating when it comes to flower colours.
This is also purple with white stripes. Why is this important? Because these two are in the same pot and from the same "mother". It is really unbelievable and amazing in the same time.
Unfortunately I can't remember what the "mother" leafe was like, was it simple purple or with stripes but either way the result is amazing.
My flower sales are increasing, looks like people like African violets which I'm very happy for as I can make a very small profit from my passion and also get rid of the excess in the best way. I know it sounds awful but you can't stop flowers to grow new ones and since space is limited, it comes a time when you have to decide what to do and you only have two options. Give them away, this is the best option or throw them away, which I could never do as it would break my heart. Thus I'm selling them to people who I hope would take good care of them.
Someone made an order for three purple ones, I was planning to give her one of these but now I can't. First I have to wait until it has a few babies and let them grow. Good thing I have others and can give the lady three pots.
Nature is amazing and the best artist as well, I'm always telling you.
Thank you

Thank you, I appreciate that!
Until you said that, I had no idea! I remember a while back and sure enough, here you are again. I find that amazing myself and I cannot help wondering if it is because they are a hybrid.
Hybrids do crazy things when they throw off babies!
Anyway, congratulations on your business! Sounds like you have figured out a way to feed your passion while you give beauty to the world.

I don't know, could be because they are hybrids, I don't know but either way, I love the outcome. It's like two in one, right?
Thank again for your support! Have a nice evening 😀
It absolutely is just like getting a twofer! They're beautiful and I think that you are lucky to have reproduced yet another hybrid! Thank you for sharing this with us and I just want you to know that I appreciate all the hard work you do to make steemit a better place.

Could it be a change in the nature of the soil...? I know that blue hydrangeas for example need a soil with a degree of acidity (pH) below 5.5 and the presence of sufficient aluminum, and when that changes, they begin to become purple, and then more pinkish..that what happens to mine as I do not really maintain the acidity, so some flowers are pretty blue, others are purple and some others are pink...it's lovely ❤️
That said, I'm a total ignorant in matter of plants, I just know this detail about hydrangeas 😄
I don't know, maybe that's the case or maybe the water, who knows? Anyway, interesting facts about hydrangea, my grandmother had one but something happened to it and we don't have it anymore.
Nature is funny for sure. Thanks for stopping by and have a nice and create weekend my dear 😊
