🍕 Easter Monday Shift

Yesterday was the last day of the Easter holiday—Monday.

After taking three days off since Friday,
I went back to work in the evening.

Honestly, it didn’t feel too bad…

Working just a few hours
but getting paid double is always nice. 😄

🏫 Expected to Be Busy

Since it’s school holidays,
I expected it to be really busy.

But maybe because fuel prices have gone up,
it was actually quieter than I thought.

Not completely dead,
but definitely not as hectic as expected.

🍕 Pizza Prep

Still, pizza is always popular.

So I prepared everything in advance
and set them up on the jack stand, ready to go.

It’s better to be ready
than to rush later.

🔥 Oven vs Wood-Fired

Of course,
pizza from a wood-fired oven is the best.

But these days,
most places use electric ovens.

Especially hotels
and major pizza chains like Domino’s or Pizza Hut—
they all rely on those ovens.

If you really want that authentic wood-fired taste,
you have to go to a proper pizza specialty place.

I made 32 pizzas in total.

Only 4 were left,
and the rest were all sold.

Not bad at all.

As for the remaining ones—
we just baked them up for the staff. 😄

🌙 Final Thoughts

It wasn’t as busy as I expected,
but still a solid shift.

Good pay,
steady work,
and a few pizzas to enjoy at the end.

Not a bad way to wrap up the holiday.
