Всем привет!	Hello everyone!
В погожий сентябрьский день я наконец-то выбралась погулять по парку Авангард в нашем городе. Во времена моего детства здесь был просто лес.	On a fine September day, I finally got around to strolling through Avangard Park in our city. When I was a child, it was just a forest.
Но не так давно здесь решили сделать благоустроенную парковую зону, проложили дорожки, поставили скамейки, обустроили пляжную зону около пруда.	But not long ago, they decided to create a landscaped park here: they laid out paths, installed benches, and created a beach area near the pond.
Ничего особенного, но вполне приятно погулять, особенно в хорошую погоду. Светило солнце, чуть начали золотиться листья деревьев. Благодать!	Nothing special, but it was quite pleasant to stroll around, especially in good weather. The sun was shining, and the leaves on the trees were just beginning to turn golden. Bliss!

И тут посреди этого благолепия над парком раздался дикий рёв какого-то мотора. Но здесь же пешеходные дорожки, что это ревёт?	And then, in the midst of this splendor, a wild roar of some kind of engine echoed over the park. But there are pedestrian paths here, what was that roaring?
Вскоре я нашла источник неуместного звука. Вместо тихо шуршащей метлы, дворник нёс небольшой прибор, который издавал неадекватный для своего размера рёв и сдувал с дорожки листья.	I soon found the source of the incongruous sound. Instead of a quietly rustling broom, a street sweeper was carrying a small device that emitted a roar inappropriate for its size and blew leaves off the path.
Вот, вроде, прогресс, но что-то тут непродуманно.	This seems like progress, but something about it was ill-conceived.

Кроме звука, имелся ещё и ощутимый запах бензина. И вот какой смысл, прийти в благоустроенный парк, на природу, послушать птичек, подышать свежим воздухом, а тут ревёт мотор и пахнет бензином… Не понравился мне такой прогресс.

Besides the sound, there was also a noticeable smell of gasoline. So what's the point? Come to a well-maintained park, into nature, listen to the birds, breathe fresh air, and then there's a roaring engine and the smell of gasoline... I didn't like this kind of progress.
