The candidacy exam!

Helen spent the whole night studying as she would face the challenge of passing the difficult test of the candidacy exam.

It had been long months of preparation where she had to take special refresher courses and laboratory practice classes in order to feel safe at the time of taking the exam.

Already at eight o'clock in the morning the aspirants gathered in that auditorium, she felt a little desolate and the anguish clouded her a little the sight.

Sighing deeply, she sat down in her seat to take the exam. There were about 200 questions that she had to answer within four hours.

Once the time has elapsed and prior to making a last revision of the answers, she gave it her exam.

The following day the evaluators issued their verdict declaring the winners. Surprised her name appeared among the winners what made her very happy since she would soon start working as a specialist.
