Reminds me in a way of that joke about the boy who never spoke, worrying his parents and baffling the doctors, until one morning at age 4 he slammed down his spoon and said this oatmeal is cold. Astonished, his parents asked why he'd never uttered a word before this. "Up til now, everything's been fine," he said.
