RE: Massive Mall Fails to Overshadow Tiny Retail Stalls … Chiang Mai – CityScape Photography

This year I am planning to try if the traveling lifestile fits me, becouse one of my lifetime dreams is to visit a Southeast Asian country. I am planning to do my little road trip in Europe for more than a week. I know that it is absolutely different from Asia, but this is the most I can do right now. Would you recommend Thailand for a "newbie traveler", and if yes, which part of it?

Ya, Thailand's good for a beginner. Most cities and coastal towns would present little difficulty. Many people speak a bit of English, so you could get around and get by. Once you get into the countryside or the smaller towns, you might have difficulty communicating.

In the Philippines, most people speak English quite well. Surprisingly, he same goes for Malaysia, where many people speak English as their second language. In Vietnam and Cambodia and Indonesia, you'll find many people who can speak basic English, so you can get around without much difficulty.

Whatever, they're all great places to visit. Hope you get there soon.
