Science and Technology has aided swift food production like Broiler Chicken attaining 1kg within few weeks , but the WORLD is resisting them , excusing them being inorganically grown.
In my community , traditional folks never deligt the broiler Birds , accusing it devoid of "sweet taste" and too soft . They prefer native and old layer Chickens which tendons are hard to schew unlike tender broilers !
I grow chickens just small batch and I prefer them to go outside and find insects. Slow growth Broilers has excellent taste just like native chickens. I like Sasso, they prefer to eat grasses only
We grow Sasso chickens before but only for our own consumption. They are huge specially the male one. I love their big brown eggs because the big one's have two yolks inside.
Yes, they grow as much as 7 kilos up
