Best memes i've accidentally seen this week

I say that I've seen them accidentally because they were sent to me in some sort of messenger app.

I am a normal human and I appreciate the simple things in life: A good laugh especially if it is from a shared memory even if it is at the expense of the feelings of a close friend. Actually, especially if it is at the expense of a close friend's feelings. These are in no particular order but some of them made me teary-eyed they were so funny or applicable.

I am not a morning person and the people who know me are very aware of this. The other day someone needed to call me at what he knew was just 30 minutes or so after I wake up to ask me something related to work. Although I did my best I was NOT very nice. It is well known among my work colleagues that I am not going to be helpful until at least an hour after I have been awake and even then, probably not so much.

One of the guys we work with uses a Mac and doesn't have a great reason for doing so. I have nothing against Macs but I just feel as though they are all overpriced hardware purchased by people that don't know the value of what it is that is actually behind their cleverly designed notebook with a glowing piece of fruit on it.

We torment this friend of ours constantly with things like this and he takes it in stride. he is a good guy, he just enjoys wasting money i guess.

This meme is all but inapplicable to us here in Vietnam since we have no lockdown, no mask requirements, no anything. I don't want to get into the political angles of this but since half of the people I work with are American, their social media feed is about little else other than racism and masks.... and this is just funny.

Lastly, one of my best pals that lives here has a dog that will scream bloody murder if you get anywhere near his house and will behave as though it will rip your larynx out of your throat when it is behind his front door when you knock on it. But once you get that same dog out in public out on the leash it is absolutely terrified of nearly everything. The dog is a sweetheart but we all pick on the owner on a regular basis for this very stark contrast in attitude based on where it happens to be at the time.
