Oregon pot price falls! $50 ounces!
You read it? $50 an ounce. Boom too many people growing and now stage is set for export!
Too much weed! And a war for patients rights.
Blaze it!

Hahah, this is a great problem to have! Lots of people growing cannabis, less prohibition on how it can be sold, and prices PLUNGE! We've also seen this here in Vancouver with our 420 cannabis farmers market, every Saturday. Activists keep prohibition at bay, and vendors compete in a free market setting, and prices drop. Quality increases, and everybody benefits.
That's not something they want here in Canada! The government is going to be our dealers. They've already shown they can't grow, but now recreational users are going to get the same bunk the medical users have been forced to buy. This is "legalization", apparently! Not what we voted for! Grrrrrr!
Free the weed! Let prices fall and let the free market thrive. Organized crime will lose interest as prices fall. Craft cannabis (small high quality grows) do well in that environment.
End the monopoly on growing and selling plants!
Everybody has outdoor indoor still commands an extremely high price! Indoor weed still goes for $300 an ounce
Make extracts out of the outdoor stuff! Yummy dabs!
Indoor when done right can be a smoky treat.
300 USD is silly for a plant, even if that plant was cared for and grown inside. High end stuff is 220 CAD here in Vancouver... that's been the price for quite a while. I can get pretty decent indoor for 100 CAD through the farmers market but most people pay more.
Good time to stockpile. Happy Budday, @ganjafarmer!
Actually having dank in summer and before harvest pays off. Right now the regulation is having people with millions of $ just sitting awaiting sale and getting dried out. No cure even on high end herb.
Shrug. Ewwwww. It's still $40 an 8th. $320 an ounce. In stores for top shelf. And 50 an ounce for outdoor
Washington is also seeing a drop in prices and has waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much weed. This sounds like a great problem to have, but unfortunately a large chunck of the product we have is very low quality. Inexperienced/uneducated growers are putting out mediocre product at a high volume to an uneducated market. Is it the same in Oregon or is the quality rising?
The glut. And if you don't care about your product and just go for money? It shows! Good weed is rare.
