My Neighborhood Watch #73 - Reporting Events Around us
Hello, friends, once again I bring you an impressive story, I don't know for whom.
Well, life goes on the same, there are no changes, and that's good, since changes are deadly. Prices are rising very little, and this has allowed me to live with very little, trying to be very organized with things, eating just enough, and surviving the whole month. Now I have no money, but I have food for five days, and I should pay the rent today or tomorrow. I ran out of money because the gas company charged me three times for the same bill due to their mistake, so I was left with almost no money. But I adjusted my expenses to the maximum and made it through the month, always thanking God that I have everything I need, even though there are some leaks and some bugs bothering me. But everything helps me become stronger, more peaceful, and more calm every day. The truth is, the peace and tranquility I have is very rare, it feels like the calm before the storm.
I live with my two dogs: a pit bull named Mike and a poodle named Mora, who were given to me as a gift from my marriage. My wife used to tell me, when she left for another country, "Take care of the dogs." She left, they put money in her wallet, and now she doesn't remember she had dogs. That's how they are. My bike got a flat tire, and I couldn't fix it, but now, when I get paid, I'll fix it because I can barely walk due to the pain in my knee. I used to be so strong and athletic, and now I can hardly walk because of the pain. But I don't give up; with pain and all, I do the cleaning, cook for the dogs, and keep the house in order. Now I'm filling up the pool because it's very hot, so I can't complain.
What I do, though, is attend meetings with the Jehovah's Witnesses, and that has done me a lot of good, so every day I am better, happier, and more organized. When she left, I didn’t know how to cook, clean, or wash clothes, nothing. Now I’ve learned the basics to survive, and I’m clean and neat.
These are the boring updates from Argentina, my home.
