Devon Landscape Retreat
Cottage Retreat
Since returning from my ten day trip to Devon and retreat I've fond it hard to settle back into everyday life.
Everything seems so familiar here and I find myself yearning for another adventure and for the peace I experienced on that short break.
This weekend will be fun at least, and in a nice family way, as we're looking after the grandchildren today and then spending the day with them again tomorrow, this time with my daughter too. We're planning on going to a National Trust Property but that may change.
Anyway, in memory of my wonderful time in Devon, here's another picture of my little cottage with the gorgeous landscape in the background.
It's easy to see why I'm missing it isn't it? 😊

That looks lovely. When I lived in South Dakota, the nuns had some retreat cabins, but the landscape was a lot more bleak...

that photo just screams "idyllic country retreat" well I guess it would be silly to scream that phrase...oozes, embodies, epitomizes. you get the idea :)

howdy @gillianpearce! I love that place! is that in England or Ireland? sorry I don't know were Devon is or what it is! but I know it's very picturesque and I can see why it was so peaceful there!
