Museum of the Bizarre - Wilmington, North Carolina
I was touring a battleship when i saw the brochure for this place and when i saw that it was only $3 to get in, well, i knew we had to go.
Museum of the Bizarre
It's located just along the riverfront in Wilmington anyway, which is an area that most people would end up in anyway if they were wandering around here. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants, not to mention some pretty awesome ice cream and fudge shops that some people claim are the best in the world. When you see this place, keep in mind that it is $3, so even if you don't like it, it is no big deal. Plus, this is the first time i have wrapped text around and image so you are witnessing a piece of history here folks... write down the date.
not being allowed to take pictures makes me angry
I don't believe this next one was authentic and they make no claim that it is
Mostly this was a collection of strange stuff mixed in with props from movies and also replicas of fun things such as Han Solo frozen in carbonite. I don't know why i forewent taking a picture of that and instead went for the full size Michael Myers
While nothing particularly mind-blowing was contained inside, it was a wonderful way to spend $3. I think it actually may be the best $3 i have ever spent. There was also a mirror maze that you could go through and that was my first experience at that. Those are super fun.
If you find yourself in Wilmington, and I honestly can't imagine why you would, take a look at the museum of the bizarre. You wont regret it.
Lol! I would so love to visit that museum.
