"Photography of an Unknown Flower"
Namaskar
Dear friends, how is everyone doing? I hope you are all doing very well; I, too, am doing quite fine. I am @green015, hailing from India. Today, I have come before you with a photography post featuring an unknown flower. So, let us take a look at the flowers...
Photography of an Unknown Flower:
There are certain words—words that one intends to speak, yet somehow, they never find utterance. There are certain words—words that remain forever congealed within the deepest recesses—the dark wells—of one's own heart. Even when one wishes to speak them, they remain unspoken. Similarly, there are certain things that lie beyond the scope of our familiarity; although, in this modern age, we could—if we wished—quickly become acquainted with almost anything. Yet, the heart often desires otherwise—"Let them remain—somewhat like relics of the past—unknown, unfamiliar, and secluded in the shadows." Indeed, at times, it is these very unfamiliar and unknown things that appeal to us the most. It is with the photography of just such a flower that I have come before you today.
Although winter has now taken its leave, the moments captured through the camera lens remain forever bright and vivid—helping us to carefully preserve our memories of the past. I took these photographs in the flower garden of our 'Sarojini Hostel.' While most of the flowers here are winter varieties—and familiar to me—this particular bloom is somewhat of a stranger.
At first, I mistook it for a Petunia, but it is, in fact, a distinct variety altogether. The most intriguing feature is that, right at the center of the flower, there are four tooth-like structures, accompanied by a lip-like formation. It almost seems as though the flowers are speaking through their lips. Furthermore, with its blend of white and red hues, this hybrid variety is breathtakingly beautiful. The flowers also bear a resemblance to the shape of a microphone. So, let's take a look—
| I hope you all enjoy today's photographs. I will return again another day with a new topic; until then, I wish you all good health and well-being. |
