Santiago was a blast!

Like many international cities, Santiago has first world areas and then it has third world areas. Yes, they skip the second, whatever that means.

There is a very common saying, Santiago is Chile. I agree with statement to some extent. Not only is it the capital of the country, it is the headquarters of nearly all of the industry in Chile. All the top universities are there as well.

Here I am with two of my sisters on the roof top terrace of the Hyatt Place Hotel

One big problem, in my opinion, that Chile has is that there is virtually no penalty for petty theft. This just invites the 'have nots' to take from the 'haves.' This is a big, big problem.

Mirrored glass elevators can produce some interesting pics.

Santiago is a fun city, I highly recommend it.

So, we have this little experiment going on, what to make of it I do not know. I'm sorry, I really think the timing and lack of communication are bad form. We will see.

Today, I am off to Argentina, I'll be posting again soon,.....

If petty theft is a big problem there, I'd keep an eye on that great camera of yours if I were you! 😀

i kept a very close eye on it

Very nice photos!

The other very big problem is that there are so many "have nots", I guess ...

Sure looks like a lot of fun!

I love the view there.

You look to be enjoying yourself with your family. Very nice and also interesting!

So far you have escaped unscathed, at least on this post by the experiment!

I don't know what to think of the experiment, just watching

Awesome photo's @gringalicious! I especially love the opening panaorama with the mountains in the background, just beautiful! And the pic of you in front of the VW is adorable! Exquisite location and photography! Thank you for sharing your trip to Santiago!
