Can a person be truly happy without being successful in society’s eyes?

Yes, it’s definitely possible. I have felt this in my own life too. A person can be happy even if they are not called successful by society. Happiness doesn’t always come from money or a high status. Some people stay happy with what they have, no matter how little it is. They are thankful to Allah and enjoy small moments with their family.

We don’t need to look at social media to find these people. We can see them around us simple people who smile,, laugh, and live happily with their loveed ones. They don’t compare themselves to others, and that’s why they stay more peaceful.

On the other hand, we see many people become sad just because they keep comparing their life with others who have more. They forget to value their own blessings.i believe true happiness comes from inside, not from what society thinks of us.

Do you believe success automatically brings happiness, or are they two separate things?

In my opinion, success and happiness are two different things. Sometimes success brings happiness, but not always. For example, if we talk about a student, they work hard for many years to complete their degree. When they finally succeed, they feel happy and peaceful because they achieved their goal. But even after getting the degree, some people still don’t find a good job and face stress. So, success doesn’t always mean happiness.

Real happiness comes from inside. It depends on how we live our life and what we value. We should find joy in small things, like spending time with family, being thankful for what we have, and living simply.

I also want to share an example of a Pakistani YouTuber named Rajab Butt. He once shared that he was happier when he had less money and was living a simple middle class life with his parents. Even though he struggled a lot, even for basic needs , he felt peace and joy with his family.

Now, he is a successful YouTuber and can buy anything he wants, but still, he says he doesn’t feel the same happiness anymore. He faces many problems now, even with all the success.

So, I believe success and happiness are not the same. You can be happy without being very successful, and you can be successful without feeling happy.

If you had to choose only one — a happy life with simple living or a successful life with stress — which would you pick and why?

I would always choose a happy life with simple living. No matter what options are given to me, I prefer peace and happiness over money and stress. I don’t believe that money can buy true happiness. Even if someone becomes successful and earns a lot of money, it doesn’t guarantee a peaceful life.

For me, happiness is when we have a loving and supportive environment around us. Even if we are from a middle. class background, if our family, friends, and partner love and support us, life becomes beautiful. These things can’t be bought with money.

Success can help us fulfill some dreams, but I would never choose a stressful life just for the sake of more money. I would never do a job that gives me high income but ruins my peace of mind.
