Greetings to all my fellow steemians, participating in this contest today is such an interesting one, posting in this wonderful community is an awesome 😎 😎one.
Today I decided to draw my favourite basketballer 🏀 named LEBRON JAMES.

Basketball is a fast, exciting sport where two teams of five players try to score points by throwing a ball through the opponent’s hoop, trying so hard that no one can stop them except there make a brief mistake.

The game is played on a rectangular court with a hoop at each end, mounted 10 feet high. You score 2 points for a regular shot inside the arc, 3 points for a shot behind the arc, and 1 point for a free throw after a foul.

What makes basketball so fun is the mix of skill, speed, and teamwork. You need dribbling to move with the ball, passing to set up teammates, and good shooting to score. Defense matters just as much – blocking, stealing, and rebounding can change the game in seconds.

*It’s more than just a game though – basketball builds discipline, fitness, and connection. Whether you’re playing pickup with friends or watching the pros, the energy is always electric 🏀

LeBron James is one of the greatest basketball players of all time – and honestly, more than just a player.

Tips about LEBRON JAMES

Most players are known for scoring or defense. LeBron does everything. He can score, pass, rebound, defend, and lead a team. At 6’9” and over 250 pounds, he’s big and strong like a power forward, but he handles the ball and sees the court like a point guard.

• He’s played for 3 teams: Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat, and LA Lakers.
• He’s won 4 NBA championships and 4 MVP awards.
• In 2023 he passed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to become the NBA’s all-time leading scorer.
• Even in his 40s in 2026, he’s still playing at a high level, which almost never happens in basketball.

LeBron is also a businessman and philanthropist. He opened the “I Promise School” in Akron to help kids from poor backgrounds get education and support. He speaks out on social issues and has built a media company too.

Think of LeBron as the guy who was told he’d be great at 16, and he actually lived up to it for over 20 years. He’s consistent, he adapts, and he carries heavy expectations without breaking. Fans either love him or debate him, but nobody ignores him.

Today I decided to draw my ⭐ star player, I take him as my mentor that he is because he started his wonderful career from a young age, and he believes that the way to success is through hard work 🤠 and he puts more efforts more and more to get where he is today 🙏🏻, he is my mentor and everything.

HOW I DREW LEBRON JAMES STEP BY STEPS

Materials for the drawing

White embossed paper
*Blue bick 🖊️ pen
I used only my pen and my white embossed paper to draw my favourite basketballer 🏀 today.

Step 1
I made sure that the plan paper doesn't have any stains on it, I shaded with my blue bick pen 🖊️ so that no mistake will be made when drawing, shading helps us to avoid unnecessary mistakes so that the work will be clean and neat.

Step 2
I carefully and gradually hold the pen 🖊️ to avoid it to be so thick, if it is so thick the drawing will be full of mistakes because you can not clean pen 🖊️, pen is permanent.

Step 3
I gradually colour the hair and eyes 👀 of the drawing to avoid starting all over again.

Step 4
I rounded up my drawing by making sure that they is no mistakes on it.

The drawing took me 4 hours to finish because I don't want to hurry myself up and draw nonsense

Me drawing today is the motivation @dequeen gave me in this wonderful platform and I bit my chest and say that I will continue to draw in my league time, and drawing needs patience and endurance for me.
