I love badminton

Hello Steemians!

In my university days, I used to play badminton with my friends. Those are perfect memories for me. Even though I have played badminton before, the university was the place where I got the natural feeling of playing badminton on an actual court. After my university life, I used to play badminton with my 2 sisters and brother at home. But recently a sports centre was opened near my home where I can go and play badminton with my friends and family.

When I was playing there with one of my best friends, I met some of my other university friends also coming to play in the same place. I got the opportunity and joined with them. Now we are playing badminton every saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 3pm. There are very good players among them. I’m really happy that I met them to play with satisfaction.

I go to play badminton with Malindu most of the time. After playing I can have a very tasty lunch from his mother. I couldn’t miss that. So, when there is time, he is also a very good badminton partner for me. One day his elder brother and wife also joined us. They are also really good players.

This one is very important. She is the one who recommends this place to me. I normally go to play with her with my sister. Her sister also never forget to join us. Both of them are really good players and very hard to beat. Achini has a badminton tournament coming by. So I promised her to practice with her. Today evening also we practised and I think she can win. I wish her good luck.

How could I forget my 2 brothers? Tharusha is very good at playing and sometimes he is very competitive. I’m so proud that I am the one who teaches him to this stage. I’m really proud of him. Normally sisuru baba also comes with us when we go to the sports center. I think he will also be a very good player.

Normally I share photos of playing on social media. Sihara is also one of my university friends. She also wanted to play badminton with me after seeing some of the photos I shared on social media. I'm happy that she also came to play with me.

Sahan is also a very good friend since grade 1. He is also a really good player. I heard that his sister is also a professional badminton player. So we are hoping to play with her in the future. These days she is very busy with her university work.

I’m really proud that I have lots of friends with that I can spend my free time playing badminton. I think it’s very good for our physical and mental health. I this place charges us 500 rupees per hour per court. I think it’s fair when we divide among us. I hope there are good players in our community also. Don’t forget to share your experiences with us.
