A Gift of Frangipani/lemongrass Facial Scrub

in #naturalmedicine7 years ago (edited)

I think that the excitement now is the search for natural herbs or plants that can complement my base of lemongrass in my DIY facial and body scrubs. As frangipani won the first round, today was spent in making this combination, the final product will be for a friend of ours in Ohio as my cousin is presently on holiday in the country. This will be my surprise gift for her, wishing that she doesn't have any allergy to any of the ingredients. If it so happen that she have one, the husband can have it or their son. Either way, the smell will be fabulous to whoever will try it.

I should know, being the first to have tried it.

If you can see those fluppy brown pieces, they are the dried frangipani flowers that i've put under the sun. Ideally and apparently, they need at least 3 days to dry. Mine were dried enough as i fully checked every piece before going under my mortar and pestle.

These were freshly picked from the ground in the morning as it's my habit now to check our bermuda grass for new fallen ones. Although I did plan to ask our neighbours for some.

From my previous post my homemade organic facialbody-scrub-made-easy, the list of ingredients is available from there for anyone who wants to make their own.

What i love about lemongrass and frangipani is their antibacterial effect punch, with the fungicidal and antimicrobial effect of lemongrass. Although one article did mention of the wart removal property for frangipani, there's not a lot of articles mentioning it.

Imagine that frangipani scent with the lemongrass plus its' vit. A and C together on your skin, would my friend just love it? Isn't she lucky?😄😄😄

Now, do you want to know another natural "stuff" to help with the scent? Its' from a fruit peeling!

Mmm nice ingredients! I have a load of lemongrass in the garden so must start putting it into some homemade beauty products! Thanks sweetie!

I forgot to add, moringa powder can also be added to the mix for its' vit. E
Though it softens the mixture. If there's anything i can help you with just holler😘
