Another week of engagement challenge and the @hive-181136 came up with a very interesting topic/ task for this week's challenge, "Creative photography". It all sums from your idea of creative moments while taking photographs and not majorly your editing skill as the contest says.

I really love and admire photography as a whole and I love taking pictures, the device i use doesn't limit my creativity, I explore nature with my device, I'm sure you would love to see what kind of device this is. A creative photography depends on your creative idea and the objects, in this era it doesn't really depend if you're using a hand camera or a mobile phone, you can still capture a creative moment.

I'll be sharing my own creative moments with you, which you'll tell me in the reply section which one is your best and why.

First Creative moment
IMG_20240508_064752.jpg

This photograph really confused my friends because they didn't understand how I came up with this photo. The confusion behind this photograph makes it creative. The person in frame is my sister and that's my hand holding the mobile phone.

You would have just brought the conclusion that the camera is down and facing upwards, but seeing my camera already will bring more confusion. This is actually a mirror on the flat ground and we are looking down on it. We wanted to create a nice reflection by pouring water on the mirror but before that I decided to take this picture, it's somehow easy to dictate the errors cos the mirror was a small one so you can still see the frames on the photo.

Second Creative moment
IMG_20240508_065859.jpg

This looks like spider in its web, I captured a young toad resting on the center of a web-like leave. It's not easy to take steady close view picture of them, they will just jump off.

Whilst I was exploring nature I saw many interesting things to snap but what really caught my attention was this toad, it was asleep and calm which I didn't want to bring any disturbances to it. The creativity behind this is the calmness, the alignment and the resting object which looks like a web, so I had to take a plan view of it.

Third creative moment
PXL_20240508_084627860.jpg

The wise ones did say that

  • "the root of education is bitter and its fruit is sweet"

You would really attest to that, we have really been stressed out in school and you would move up and down, running from this lecture hall to that lecture hall and sleeping late because of studying, waking up early to study and so on, that's why it's said that the roots are bitter but let's look at the brighter side which is the fruit, you will enjoy the salaries, the connections through which education has given and so on.

Now in my picture I was able to bring a book which represents education and the coconut fruit which represents fruit which is the brighter side of education. This creative idea I got was from the quote and I was able to express it in photography.

Fourth photography moment

During our country's independence which my country is Nigeria, we had thoughts of what to do, we thought of the creative ideas to express our happiness about the independence, we had a our country flag which is colored green and white and we had a friend to model for us. The country is blessed with rich agriculture that's why we decided to use a palm tree plantation farm and large farm which crops were grown.

The magazine and TV are the old artifacts which expresses what the Nigerians had and used in those days. To explore this creativity to show how we celebrate our country's independence, our model held the TV on her hands while it was partly on her shoulders, she kept her head gently on the screen smiling, to show the happiness and the magazine on the TV set. She was clothed with the country's flag and her lips and cheeks were painted with the country's color.

You don't have limits to creativity.

Fifth creative moment
IMG_20240508_065647.jpg

Happy Children with happy colored balloons, you can tell how happy children are when they have balloons but we didn't know that balloons too are also happy to be with children. The balloon is happy and posing for a picture.

Sixth Creative moment
IMG_20240508_065612.jpg

Here is a picture is took in school, in an engineering sitout park the students are patiently waiting for the time for their next lectures to begin so they can start moving to their lecture hall. I captured this from a whole and it came out creative.

Seventh Creative moment

IMG_20240508_065544.jpg

This is a picture of a child from a circular frame, it's actually her bracelet and I was able to take a picture through it.

Eight Creative moment
IMG_20240508_065506.jpg

"Time waits for no man"

Capturing a timely moment at the right time, in frame is my sister and we were able to capture this moment. With all the number of clock and time you have, time won't wait for you.

Ninth Creative moment
IMG_20240508_065445.jpg

This is one of the moments I captured which is equivalent to the reference picture in the engagement challenge post. This is a 21 story structure in my state and the creativity behind this is that it looks like I'm holding the tip of the building with my fingers, the idea is the position of your hand and the objects.

Tenth Creative moment

IMG_20240508_065329.jpg

Still the same venue but I made a good straight line photography of my friend standing so far ahead and on the yellow path, since light travels on a straight line I decided to catch the light and turn it into photography.

All images were taken with my Redmi12c and without Editing just real images

These are my photography creative moments and I would love to see your comments and also see yours too. Would love to invite my friends to join in this contest @deepak94 @johnmitchel and @pea07 to join

Hi @imohmitch, greetings from me.

Your picture are really creative and picture six express creativity in your capturing skill, capturing the student in a hollow stone is a kind of picture that one must be genuine enough to before realizing it's uniqueness.
Time waits for no man not even woman, you're very right and I agree with you, capturing the female gender with a bunch of clocks in front of her help me realize that time is behind us and I must do everything fast and not waste the little time i have. Thanks for shirt your creativity with us and I wish you all the best of luck.🤗

Thank you for your comment @kidi40, capturing has a lot to do with patience and emotions, and our creativity is always waiting around to be unleashed. I always want to capture the unique moments which speaks creativity.

Thanks for stopping by.

At times the things we imagined when capturing moments makes us unique and brings out the creativity in our work. Walking around the streets and places to capture some moment, flowers, building and the likes them can reduce depression and makes one to feel good. The things we do just to capture some moment sometimes looks stupid but trust it always brings happiness at last. It's a pleasure to read and comment in your post. Keep steeming bro.🤗

Seems you love to snap too, will check your blog to see your photography works, seems you will be too good with these motivations 😅. Photography eases depression.

Thanks bro, steem on!

Yes, thank you very much friend and it's good talking with you. I really enjoyed the moments while taking those photographs and I wish to take more.

Thanks for stopping by

Greetings @imohmitch

I appreciate the "eye of a good photographer" that you show as well as the ideas and risks you take to find interesting frames that are different from the common ones.
I loved the photos where you use circles to frame the focus of attention, and the one with the "yellow stripe".

Great photo shot sesion
