Most OVERHYPED Books Ever!!

I recently shared with you some books that I think don't get enough hype and credit for being awesome, so today we're flipping the coin and looking instead at some books that get way TOO much hype in my opinion.
What books would you consider way overhyped in the book community? Let me know!

I guess advertising and promotion makes a book over hyped to some degree. And sometimes the title itself makes it enticing and this is actually normal to some authors to make the title captivating, if not, nobody would care buying or reading that book just my knowing the title.
We really don't know what's in the book when we haven' read it yet.
The moral lesson maybe is:
Try to get something from a book maybe values or virtues that would be applied in daily lives for improvement.

I know a darker shade of magic, a lot of noise made about this book and I understand the fact that the book portrays magic, but ended up not really giving us anything thrilling, it's definitely a 5m4/10 for me, the plot doesn't seem too bad really and it's because I feel the writer could've done so much better with his plot instead of so many repetitions in the book, nevertheless the hype sold this book. Amazing review by by you.
You really made a good reviewed of the books you have read. I love to read but mostly fictions but I not able to provide a review liked you do. If I like a particular story, I can read the book 4-6 hours a day (if human not require to sleep, i would read in 24 hours :p) and finished it a week. If I read some overhype book, it took me months to finish it. This was a good reviewed @ivymuse.I definitely like this type of review to prevent me buy book which took me months to finish.

STOPI think sharing some books you find valuable can be of great help since not everyone visit the library that often or kept for new books
