The diary game.Diary of 30-04-2024.Continuous rain and our preparations to tackle with any untoward happening.

Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.

Not doing anything different from my daily routine I got up early in the morning at 5:30 AM and after performing ablution I went to offer the morning prayer in the nearby mosque. From quite a few days, it has been continuously raining and the temperature has dipped down to below normal. Due to cold, it was quite difficult to get out of the warmth of the bed, but still I couldn’t hold myself back as it has been my habit since years now. Upon returning home I couldn’t go out on a walk or do any sort of workout at home because of the cold weather and also because of the wet ground due to the continuous rainfall over the night, I decided to go for some more sleep. I got up at 9 AM in the morning and after getting fresh, I had my breakfast. Today, my colleague and I had decided to go to the village in which I have been deputed for receiving some items from the department, which needed to be put in place to be well prepared for any sort of emergency that might arise due to the continuous rainfall. These items contained the emergency rescue kits that we have already stocked at our village office.

I had already reached the village when my colleague came to help me carry the items to their respective places. We had to take over these items from the former authorities in whose custody we had left the items before. After doing all the formalities for whole day, we went to see a famous blue water lake called Nilnag, which is located in the premises of this particular village. After enjoying the beautiful view of the lake, we went to have some tea in a nearby Restaurant, which is run by one of our friends. It was quite late in the day and the overcast conditions made it even more darker, and we decided to leave the place without further delay.

Upon reaching home, I got fresh and then had some food followed by a nap for about 50 minutes. After that, I left to see my cousin at my uncle’s home, and while I was on way to my uncle’s home, I observed the cutting due to large discharge of water in the streams, which has jeopardised various structures along its way. I t has been a serious concern throughout this season because of continuous rainfall.One of the obvious reason for such continuous rainfall is the climate change that also had an effect on the winter. The winter had gone dry and now the spring season which otherwise used to be dry, has come up with a huge amount of rainfall, which also has a deep impact on the agriculture and horticulture sector of the valley.

I returned home at around 8:30 PM, after which I offered the evening prayers followed by dinner together with my parents. Now, as I am going to bed, I firstly finished writing my diary to make an account of what I did today.
