Christmas Party 2025 at Savoy Hotel Beach and Resort

I just want to share our annual event, our Gender and Development Seminar together with our Christmas Party 2025. This two event never separated for years because of the budget allocated with it. For this year, we are here at Savoy Hotel Beach and Resort. All the expenses are from the GAD budget and our school canteen profits. This is one of my favorite event every year because I get to visit different resorts free from personal expenses.

We had an opening program in the morning started at 9am. Then we invited a resource speaker for an inspirational message about gender and development.

Mr Ongco, our speaker, stand in front of us for 2 hours. We learned a lot in life about his topic. It is worth listening.

At 11:30, we took our buffet lunch. I wasn't able to take some pictures because I was overwhelmed with the foods. My favorite craving is available, the crispy lechon. Since I am pregnant I am privilege to be in the first line on the buffet and I got the crispiest lechon skin.

While having our lunch buffet, we received our give aways from the school canteen. We received 10 kilos rice and spaghetti package. We were delighted because we received so much.

After the lunch, every grade level from Kindergarten to Grade 6 prepared a dance presentation. Everyone is ready and energetic to perform as we are all full from the heavy lunch served. While the judges are computing grades, we continued with the exchange gifts.

Later, the principal announced the winners with the award:
4th place - grades 2 and 3 - P 200.00
3rd place - grade 5 and special teachers- P 400.00
2nd place- Kindergarten and Grade 1 - 750.00
1st place - Grades 4 and 6 - P 1000

We had games after the presentation, then later on everyone is given a chance to enjoy the venue.
