Welcome friend.

Do you think homework helps you remember what you learned in school?

Yes, I think homework helps me to reinforce what I have learned in school, giving me a chance to practice skills independently and build a stronger understanding of the material for myself. Revisiting the concept of what I learned in school at home usually makes it easy for me to retain what I have learned better because of the repeated exposure to revisiting the material.

Also, homework can help me to develop important skills like responsibility, self-discipline, and time management which be useful to me outside of the school environment. The truth is while in school without me practicing homework I wouldn't have gotten the good grade that I graduated with, because I wouldn't have known deep of what I was taught in the classroom.

How do you feel when you have a lot of homework?

I do feel so stressed, drone, and lazy at some point when I have a lot of homework. As a human being I need rest and overstressing myself with a lot of homework can make me fall sick have headaches, have body pain, and others that are not good for my health.

Too much homework makes me feel sad, and worried because I would be thinking about how I would complete my homework and rest. A lot of homework can be overwhelming and can lead to stress which can have the opposite effect on learning and memory I think it is best to balance our homework with life so as not to feel stressed which I have learned how to do.

Can you think of ways homework could be made more useful or enjoyable?

Yes, I think there are ways homework could be made more useful or enjoyable some of the ways are:

  • Creative Assignment: Assignments that allow students to be creative like creating art, solving real-world problems, making videos and others can make homework more enjoyable and engaging.

  • Choice and Personalization: Allowing students to have some choice in their homework can make homework enjoyable as the topic that a student is interested in is what the student would love to do.

  • Collaboration: Allowing students to group themselves or giving students group assignments for them to share their ideas, views, debates, and reinforce can make homework enjoyable.
