What is your view about charity and do you believe that it should begin at home?
Charity is what we do without expecting the result of the work we do. For example, helping a disabled or blind person to cross the road while walking on the road is also charity. There, we devote our time. We do not receive any remuneration for that time. We should inculcate such small actions in the minds of our children. By doing so they will excel in giving large amounts of charity later on.
Our children will definitely not have an income because they might be studying now, but they can be charitable by teaching others what they have studied. For example, children who cannot go to Tuition can be taught the lessons they know and that is charity.
What is the motivating factor for charity work and is it good to broadcast what you have done for others
Charity is not only done by those who are in public life but also by everyone giving what they can to others and also helping others as much as they can. In that way, my husband and I have been doing many donations. Since we are doing business, we have some charities who receive donations from us from time to time.
Also, my husband is a member of the Lions Club and does a lot of charity work through the club. For example, he has been doing work such as providing food to the hungry, helping the poor in education, giving vehicles to the disabled, helping, providing infrastructure to schools, and providing relief in times of disaster. I also go with him when necessary and perform these tasks.
When was the last time you carried out charity work to the members of your home
A lot of charity work is done through temples in our country. Therefore, all the devotees who go to the temples usually give donation to the temple administration. In that way, we often visit temples and give donations. Apart from this, in happy moments, we make a habit of helping the poor and orphans to share that happiness. Especially on birthdays and anniversaries, we give them food and buy them new clothes.
Your advice to others about charity
Charity and service means that we work for others without any exchange. Now in practice, it has become a practice to get profit in many ways and call it service. Helping others is charity, we should make it a habit to donate a certain amount of our income or time to others and help them.
At the same time we have to protect our family. We should give charity only after fulfilling the needs of the family who depend on us. We should not leave our mothers and fathers without taking care of them by entering the field saying they are doing charity. There will be many situations in life where you have to think about yourself first, some people will call it selfish but taking care of your family and friends first before helping others is the first duty
The nature of one's kindness in the form of charity for a noble cause is always good and should be followed by all. We should teach our children about the importance of charity that we do for people in need because charity begins at home.

Charity is a blessing to the needy, done by humane people. Charity is every act done without expectation of recompense. It is better to start from a charitable home where children learn humanity. Charity is inspired by our humanity which comes from compassion and kindness for others. You do charity work through some organizations it is very good they volunteer their time in this work. Charity should be about putting smiles on others' faces, not about broadcasting yourself as charitable.
Charity and service mean working for others without expecting anything in return. It's unfortunate that sometimes people try to profit from acts of service, but true charity is about selflessly helping others.
Making it a habit to donate a portion of our income or time to those in need is a wonderful idea. However, it's important to balance our responsibilities. Taking care of our family's needs should come first before giving to others. We shouldn't neglect our parents and loved ones while claiming to do charity.
It's our duty to prioritize their well-being. And you're spot on about teaching our children the importance of charity starting from home. Kindness and helping others should be values we instill in them. Keep spreading that noble cause of charity, my friend.
