Story behind my country flag |
---|
Every nation has a unique set of symbols. The identity of a nation is based on some aspect of the nation or its citizens. But the national flag, which is a symbol that genuinely reflects the country, is what all nations use as their symbol.
The national flag of India is a symbol of country's honor, patriotism and freedom. It reflects the unity of Indian people despite differences in language, culture, religion, class etc. Most notably, the Indian flag is a horizontal rectangular tricolor. Also, the flag of India consists of saffron, white and green colors.
If we are breathing the air of freedom today, it is because of the sacrifices of our freedom fighters who bravely fought against the British. Thus, the Indian national flag was created as a symbol of the freedom gained by struggle and to honor the martyrs who gave their lives for the country of India.
Tricolor
The national flag of India has three colors of saffron, white and green, so it is called a tricolor flag. In this, saffron - represents sacrifice, strength and courage. White - represents peace and truth. Green – also represents growth, greenery and agriculture.
Ashoka Chakra
The central part of the Indian national flag has a blue Ashoka Chakra with 24 spokes. It is meant to protect dharma and also meant to work hard 2 hours as the wheel.
History
An emergency organisation was established a few days prior to India's 1947 independence under the direction of Rajendra Prasad, Abul Kalam Azam, Sarojini Naidu, and Ambedkar. To commemorate the martyrs who lost their lives for freedom, the organisation chose to establish a flag. For this reason, a number of flags have been developed and changed. The Indian flag has altered 22 times thus far. The organisation ultimately settled on a flag with a blue Ashoka wheel in the middle, uniform saffron, white, and green stripes. A prototype of the Indian National Flag was created on June 23, 1947, and it was presented to the Constituent Assembly for approval on July 22, 1947. Finally the organization declared the flag designed by Bingali Venkaiah as the national flag.

Share your beautiful incident with your flag.
I used to proudly display our national flag or tricolour in every report after being chosen as my country's Steemit country representative. Additionally, I once created a tricolour handcraft to enter a competition that looked stunning and had a lot of positive feedback on Steemit.
Conclusion
The National Flag of India is the pride and joy of every citizen. It represents the sovereignty and integrity of our country and deserves utmost respect and honor. Let us protect our nation and the national flag, the martyrs who sacrificed their lives tirelessly for the freedom of our country.
