“Manga Culture”

Manga (comic) culture in Japan is huge as you know, it's not too much to say people grew up with manga. Some people learn history, humanity, culture and more through manga in Japan. Still manga affects the Japanese economy a lot these days. It’s not always buying paper comic books though, people also read manga through the internet. There are many cartoonists in Japan. We call them teachers(sensei).

I noticed there is a pretty good selection of Japanese manga in Canada. Many manga are translated into English from Japanese. At least, there are two very good comic stores which have good Japanese comics in the Nova Scotia, Annapolis Valley area. I hope people read more Japanese comics!!

“漫画文化”

皆さんご存知の通り、日本では漫画文化がとても大きな割合を占めていますので、人々は漫画と共に成長すると言っても過言ではありません。日本では、歴史、人間性、文化などを漫画から学ぶ人もいます。漫画は今も尚、日本経済に大きな影響を与えています。漫画本だけではなく、インターネットを通じて漫画は読まれています。日本にはたくさんの漫画家さんがいます。漫画家さんのことを日本では先生と呼びます。

カナダの日本の漫画セレクションはなかなか良いと思います。たくさんの漫画が、日本語から英語に訳されています。ここカナダ、ノバスコシア州アナポリスバリー地域では、日本の漫画が扱われている店が、少なくとも二店舗あります。もっとたくさんの人が日本の漫画を読んでくれますように！
