Phantom of the abyss ~ Splinterlands Art Contest! // Week 81 //

This time I will enter the art contest that splinterlands holds every week, the character chosen this week is Phantom of the abyss.
I am a novice making digital drawings, I still do tests of how it looks better, in reality i do not know great techniques I am making the drawing as situations arise hehehe

^{En esta ocasión entraré al concurso de arte que splinterlands efectúa cada semana, el personaje elegido esta semana se trata de el Phantom of the abyss.

Soy muy novata realizando dibujos digitales, aún hago pruebas de como queda mejor en realidad no conozco grandes técnicas voy realizando el dibujo como se van dando las situaciones jejeje}

Step 1

I started making the sketch of the drawing with the pen brush, making the outline of the object to later add color.

^{Comencé realizando el boceto del dibujo con el pincel pluma, haciendo el delineado del objeto para posteriormente agregarle color}

Step 2

This time I decided to apply a base color, (in previous drawings I started with the shadows, but this time I decided to experiment with new steps) starting with a blue base color.

^{Decidí en esta ocasión aplicar un color base, (en dibujos anteriores comenzaba con las sombras, pero decidí en esta oportunidad experimentar con nuevos pasos) dando inicio con un color base azul.}

Step 3

Here I started by applying the shadows with a darker blue, to later blur it and merge it with the base color creating depth in the object

^{Aquí comencé aplicando las sombras con un azul más oscuro, para posteriormente difuminarlo y fusionarlo con el color base creando profundidad en el objeto}

Step 4

Apply the lights to accentuate certain parts of the body so that more shadows are noticed, then with the brush mix, blend and integrate the colors

^{Aplique las luces para acentuar ciertas partes del cuerpo y que se notasen mas sombras, después con el pincel mezclar, difumine e integre los colores}

Step 5

Here I was applying the colors that will make each particular detail to the object, such as the green color, a little more lights and the dark and light polka dots that the drawing has.

^{Aquí fui aplicando los colores que harán cada detalle particular del objeto, como el color verde, un poco más de luces y los lunares oscuros y claros que lleva el dibujo}

Step 6

I blurred some specific parts where I apply more lights and integrated a dark blue background (in my opinion a background, according to the water character).

^{Difumine sólo algunas partes específicas donde volví aplicar más luces e integré un fondo azul oscuro ( a mi parecer es un fondo acorde al personaje de agua).}

In this final step I only applied certain details such as the marks in the background with a lighter color, also the character and a last look and I integrated all the layers, finishing today's project.
