Top 5 horror games
In this article, I will introduce you to the most awesome and bizarre games that will get your head tangled up, and in some cases you will get a full bottom from the psychological point of view. Wait for the dark, turn off the lights, put on the headphones and turn on one of the top 5 horror games and have fun for the night. Or rather about nightmare.
5 . Silent Hill 2
The game was released through Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo in 2001 for PlayStation 2 and Xbox 360 and next year for Microsoft Windows. The story is not a direct sequel to the first 1999 release, which first introduced us to the American fictional town of Silent Hill.
It is the second part of the series that has tangled our head with our complicated story and gained our admiration. The main hero is James Sunderland, who heads to Silent Hill after receiving a letter from his wife waiting for him in town. He finds that the formerly beautiful city is deserted and completely immersed in fog. Its new inhabitants are the demons James has to deal with on his path of cognition.
4 . P.T
P.T. A.k.a playable teaser was a game released in August 2014 specifically for PlayStation 4. It was a demonstration of the upcoming Silent Hills game, which was downloadable for free on the internet. The developers were Kojima Production and Konami Publication. Silent Hills was a long-awaited horror play, starring Daryl Dixen (Norman Reedus) from The Walking Dead. Unfortunately, in 2015 there was a disagreement between the studies and Konami abolishing the contract with Kojima, which led to the cancellation of the Silent Hills project and the withdrawal of the P.T game from the Internet.
The game took you about an hour, which was one of the worst hours in your life. In the beginning, the game tried to make you feel safe, played nice music, you were in a pleasant environment. This was also suspicious for some of us, and it caused the opposite effect in us. With the continuation to the depth of the house we found out that the house is actually a maze that consists of repeating streets of the house. With the opening of each door, the atmosphere gradually worsened and you could continue to solve the riddle that the game had prepared for you.
3 . Dead Space
Dead Space is a game released in 2008 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows. The developer of the game is EA Redwood Shores (today's Visceral Games) and the publication is provided by Electronic Arts. The game gained tremendous success, as her creator Glen Schofield told her: "It's the most awesome game we've been able to create." The main series consists of 3 games, Dead Space 2 (2011) and Dead Space 3 (2013), which are the sequel to the first installment. Several other separate games have been created, which only added the original games.
The story takes place in 2508 when there are no natural resources on Earth. Those who survived the collapse decided to get the missing resources from other planets. So they created the space ship USG Ishimura, which is our story. The ship has a total of 34 hilarious trails, and the 35th will be a problem. The ship is overwhelmed by a virus that transforms the infected into monsters. You, in the role of space engineer Icaac Clark, have to prevent the spread of the virus and on the way to dealing with your former crew, friends and even your girlfriend.
2 . Amnesia: the Dark Descent
Amnesia is a horror classic. In 2010, it released the Frictional Games studio for Microsoft Windows, Linux and Mac OS X.
The story takes place in 1839 at Prussian Castle Brennenburg, which is enveloped in one huge secret. The main hero is Daniel, who just woke up and does not remember anything. He will find a message from his awakening place, which he himself writes. The report reads that he has decided to forget about using an elixir. He further writes that he must kill the Baron of Alexander the Chateau, a murderer and a charlatan who must pay for his crimes. The last sentence warns him of a lively nightmare who pursues him and tries to kill him. Daniel will have to go through the chateau to the secret sanctuary where Alexander is. Along the way, he has to deal with lots of puzzles and obstacles that sometimes take you an hour. Scary music in conjunction with the atmosphere of the castle will take you to the bottom where you are not sure what will happen and what you will learn from.
1 . Outlast
Studio Red Barrels has said that it will create the most disruptive, the most brutal and the most grueling game. The ultimate creation is the Outlast game released in 2013 for Microsoft Windows, later on for PlayStation 4 and Linux. In 2016, a second piece is expected to be released and will probably not be the first one.
The main hero is journalist Miles Upshur, who is investigating the alarming reports of the Mount Massive Asylum Institute, which was provided in an anonymous email. Here he finds complete chaos and the sick revolt and gain control over the institution. Miles finds out the truth about the practices that were done to the sick and created crazy murder monsters. Together with your camera you will visit the dark corners of the hospital and you will encounter several dangerous monsters against which the only defense is escape. Hope you do not get the batteries otherwise the game ends for you.
DLC Outlast: Whistleblower, who watches the story of an employee of Mount Massive Asylum, looks at the story with a different look. At first you will find that he and anonymous informing Miles about the institute are one and the same person. The game starts at about the same time that Miles will fit on the site of the institute, but at the opposite end where the original game ends.

good luck.
Outlast #1? No waaaaay BOOOOO!! Outlast gets so boring during the second half. It's also waaay to reliant on jump scares to be considered a truly well made horror game.
Amnesia? Ye sure, that deserves it's spot. Dead Space is ok too, Silent Hill 2 might be #1 according to some people, and honestly I would not argue with them. P.T. wasn't a game...so there's that :D
I would put RE4 just because of the importance of that game, or maybe RE7. What a surprise that was, it had no right to be that good. :D
You know what though, P.T. was so good, that it might actually warrant an exception.
Anyways, great my post my dude. Keep it up!
Yea! nr.1! Because of that first half! im almost f*ck my panties when i play it....
Regarding Amnesia, I wonder whether to put her in the first place, but you see my decision above;)
RE4 or 7 was not a horror game, but a shooter.
P.T. was a playable teaser for the future video game.As I wrote in the Konami and Kojima study articles, they did not agree, so the whole development was canceled.. :(
Thank you for those satisfying words, I appreciate them! I will no worries. ;)
Good list! I still think Silent Hill 2 is the pinnacle of what horror games should be.
Thank you very much, yes you are right. It's a massacre!
