I hope everyone likes my writing. In the last week of the Geo-Quest Mystery Challenge, I will share a beautiful view of the Buriganga River Walkway with my Steemian friends.

Buriganga Walkways is a beautiful riverside walking area in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, situated along the banks of the Buriganga River. It is located at a place called Dhaka Match on the Dhaka-Narayanganj Highway. This walkways was mainly built for people to spend their leisure time, walk, and enjoy the beautiful environment of the river. It is known as a place of peace in the midst of the noisy life of the city. Especially in the afternoon, many people come here to spend time with family or friends. It is located two hundred meters away from my house. When I am sad, I come here to watch the sunset in the afternoon.

Buriganga Walkways

The walkways is paved and clean, so it is very comfortable to walk here. It looks like a long bridge. There are benches to sit on the side, where you can spend time looking at the river. Many people like to watch the launches, boats, and trawlers moving on the river. Nearby is the busy Sadarghat area and Postgola Bridge. It is winter in our country, so the water of the river has dried up. This river has established communication with the capital, Dhaka, through launches of people from the southern region. A very beautiful view can be seen when the big launches pass through the river.

Buriganga Walkways is not only a place of entertainment, but it also plays an important role in enhancing the beauty of the city. Earlier, the riverbank was dirty in many places, but the environment has improved somewhat due to the construction of the walkways. Due to the planting of trees here, there is a green show on the riverbank. When I go to Buriganga Walkways in the afternoon, children come to fly kites. I witnessed some very beautiful scenes.

I participated in the Geo-Quest Mystery Challenge from the first to the fifth week with topics such as words, colors, history, and paths. I was able to learn every week. For example, in the first week, I had the opportunity to go to the university where I studied after almost twenty years to participate in the Geo-Quest Mystery Challenge. Maybe if I had not participated in the Geo-Quest Mystery Challenge, the time to go to the university would have been longer. In addition, I was able to show the archaeological sites in the historical places of my hometown.

Besides, I have featured the popular shops of my country among the writers from different countries of the world. The most enjoyable part was the Geo-Quest puzzle. Every week, I had to answer the puzzles. Overall, I really enjoyed the Geo-Quest mystery challenge of Steemit challenge 29.

Every afternoon, tourists with their families come to watch the sunset from the Buriganga Walkways. Today, I flew a kite like a child on the Buriganga Walkway. Some children brought kites to the Buriganga Walkways. I took one from them and flew it and had a lot of fun. Besides, I feel the cool breeze sitting next to the walkways. A very beautiful place to relax. I have shared some pictures below.

I recorded a video of a big launch passing by while standing on the Buriganga Walkways. Several districts are connected to the capital, Dhaka, through the Buriganga River. Every day, countless people travel to the capital, Dhaka, by launch. Many people come to the Buriganga Walkways to watch the huge launches passing by. Watching the launch is very entertaining, especially for children. I shared the video of the launch passing through Steem. watch.

Thank you all. You can see a scene of a launch in the video link I provided. Launches usually travel on rivers or seas. To travel, the launch has to go through the depths and center of the river or sea. Launches are single-story, double-story, or triple-story. The launch is going from Barisal in the south to Dhaka Sadarghat in the north. Each launch has a capacity of about 1,000 people. The launch is very crowded during weekends or annual festivals. Huge waves are created in the river when the launch goes. The view of the big launches going on is very beautiful.
