It is a mystery of dreams and moonlight
That sometimes makes me cry, sometimes smile!
We were such close friends for so long!
And without your pure gaze clouding
The purity of mine. And without a kiss
Our crimson lips ever parting!
But one day, one afternoon... there was a glow,
A gaze that shone... and gently...

We looked at each other so sweetly,
