We had a ton of rain here and I feared it would kill off parts of our garden. I'd hate to own a huge farm and have that much water damage. My own corn is taller than me and already growing corn. This makes me miss South Dakota and its back roads with all the pretty farmland.

I went out earlier today, and there are portions of fields that have become legitimate ponds. one field had a small lake, complete with frogs and a swarm of bloodthirsty mosquitos.

I lived in Watertown, SD For awhile, but really like the west side of the state. The Badlands and Black Hills are both very photogenic. Did you get to visit those, when you lived in SD?
