Boxing Day Outlet-ing and It Shone // Canadation D-2

Greetings, deal-searching travelers!

Yesterday I not only learned what it is, but I also experienced what a Boxing Day is in an Outlet here in North America. My cousin's been living here for two years and said that she's never seen the town so full of people.

Two things that I'm definitely not a fan of are consumerism and big crowds: so you can conclude about how much I enjoyed yesterday's plans. However, even though I had to breath deeply and exercise my patience a lot to survive for hours in two different shopping malls and to deal with some more unexpected issues, I was able to enjoy this moment that the light shone on to my face.

I wrote a post entitled About It Shining some months ago, and the sunlight in this header photo reminded me of it. In that text, I delved about mental health struggles and how powerful it really is to compare our psyche to our recollection of it in more difficult times.

This light shining onto my face was a reminder to enjoy the now. To try and be the best version of myself. To try and be happy. To smile :)
