Betgari Madina Jame Mosque - Bogura
ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّٰهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
Dear friends, I hope you are all doing well. Alhamdulillah, I am also very well by the grace of Allah. Today I will talk to you about a mosque. Betgari Madina Jame Mosque. It is located in Bogura district in North Bengal, Bangladesh. It is right at the start of the Paipas road in Bogura district. A big mosque has been built beside the road. The work inside the mosque is almost completely finished, but some of the exterior work is still left.
You can come here very easily from anywhere. To get here, you need to come directly to Bogura district from Dhaka, the capital. You have to enter Bogura district through the big trees before reaching the city by bus. This mosque was built along with the Banani bypass. You can see the inside of the mosque before entering at night. It is surrounded by a boundary and has a gate. The front area of the mosque is quite large. You could say there are arrangements for necessary activities and parking here.

You could say that the work isn't fully complete, about 90 percent of it is done, but the part that is finished looks really beautiful. It's a very big place and, as far as I know, it's a two-story building, but the area is quite large. As soon as I entered, I could see that the interior is extremely nice and solidly built. After going inside, I learned that already 20 million taka has been spent to make it. At least what I saw after entering was truly impressive.
The foundation inside is very strong and everything around is clean and tidy. The pillars inside are very thick and sturdy. Everything is beautifully arranged and designed. It feels really nice to see how well they are decorated and designed. You can also see that the tiles, both below and above, along with the fans, are part of a very nice system. Such strong and lovely creations are very useful and important for this mosque.

There are two gates to enter inside. One is the main gate, which is accessed from the road, and the other is another entrance that can be used. Along with the main entrance, there are arrangements for stairs and just for going up. Additionally, there are separate arrangements for those who are going to perform ablution and then pray. Regarding cleanliness, the walls of this mosque are very strong and the windows are made very well with proper Thai-style workmanship.

So far, you’ve seen the outside part of the mosque. Although I’ve shown some parts of the inside, a few things were left out, like the facilities here. There’s a separate space for the khatib and the imam of the mosque, through which he leads the prayer and gives sermons to everyone. There’s also a speaker system that delivers sound to everyone’s ears. Along with that, there’s a switch system that controls all the electronics. Besides that, there are also some small decorations that make things comfortable for the worshippers and for anyone who comes here.

So, you just saw the beauty of this mosque. I’ve shown you pretty much everything about this mosque—the size, the management, almost everything—through photographs. Speaking from my own experience, I actually came here to perform the Asr prayer, and I saw that the atmosphere inside is very clean. I did my ablution here and used the toilet. After that, I performed the prayer, and overall, I really liked it. Personally, once the remaining 10 percent of the work is completed, this is going to be an amazing mosque.
This was to present my own experience and a review of this mosque to you. I hope I have made enough effort to give you a good introduction to this mosque. I am ending my writing here for today. Everyone stay well and healthy. Allah Hafiz.

This description of the Betgari Medina Jame Mosque, built next to the Banani Bypass at the entrance to Bogra, is quite perfect. The strong pillars, Thai window carvings, and floor tiling inside this two-story mosque, built at a cost of about two crore taka, reveal its structural beauty. Alhamdulillah, the mosque has been beautifully decorated. I think that having adequate parking and large facilities like ablution facilities right next to the highway is a great relief for long-distance worshippers. The details of the fine arrangements inside, starting from the ablution area to the Imam's seating area or the sound system, create a clear picture of the entire mosque. When the remaining few works are completed, it will stand as a very orderly and beautiful structure in the area. I think that decorating the mosque in such a way will increase the interest of the worshippers. There is a different weakness in our Muslim community towards such institutions as mosques, madrasas, and orphanages. Alhamdulillah, I think this is love for Islam. 😊
