Hello my foodies partner Today, I am very happy to share with you all one of my favorites recipe which is cooking of okra soup with some good ingredients. This delicious meal is a very nutritious soup and is been loved by many people. This particular soup is one soup that I can eat from start till it finishes without getting tired.
The Ingredients that I used
To create this delicious meal, there are some important ingredients you will be using and here are the ones I use.
- Okra
- Ndupauyo
- Perewinkle
- Aduza leaves
- Red oil
- Goat meat
- Fresh ice fish
- canda
- Onions
- fresh pepper
- seasoning cubes
Seasoning the Proteins
My proteins
The first step I use in cooking my Okra soup is to season all the proteins together. What I use was canda, goat meat and fresh ice fish, I first of all wash my fish very well with hot water and I wash my goad meat with canda too, then I seasoned it with a pinch of salt and my seasoning cubes, onions, I let it cook for some minutes and when I noticed that the ingredients has penetrate well and the flavor was giving, so I know it was time for me to add some other ingredients.
The frying stage
In an empty dry pot, I heat some red oil over medium heat. I added sliced onions fry it the next was to add my Ndupauyo and stir well to combine. I allow it cook at a very low heat.
*Adding Water to the cooked proteins
After stir-frying the Ndupauyo, I added a small amount of water to the pot. I normally used a little amount of water because I want it thick,then I added my cooked proteins then I added a little oil again because I noticed the first oil was not enough. Then I cooked it for some minutes and a little low heat.
Adding Okra and Aduza Leaves
At this point my soup is 80% read, before now I had already dice my okra and keep it aside The final stage of preparation was for me to add my okra and aduza leaves to the pot. I first of all added the okra, stirring well to mixed well with the Ndupauyo mixture and my proteins. I added my aduza leaves immediately. With this I was able to get that freshness of my okra soup
Time up for it to be served
With the okra and aduza leaves which I added, I brought my pot down immediately from the heat, and my delicious Okra soup was ready to be served.
