*The diary game//19/05/2026// looking beautiful after a long time*

For the pass 6 months I have been neglecting my life because of business and as the result of that I don't remember taking care of myself any longer.

As a single mother, my top priority is to take care of my children needs so for me to meet up with the challenge of life, I have to be focused and determined.

So I let go of my beauty and concentrate more of business so that I will be able to take care of my children needs which education is included.

On the 19th of May I decided to beautify myself.

In the early morning by 5am I was already awake and I thought of what to do and making of my hair, my nails and lashes came across my mind.

Why this thought came across is because there is this picture of mine in my shop that once someone looks at it some people will ask me if I am the one in the picture and some will say it's AI photos, so all this questions kept me worried and I will ask myself If I am no longer beautiful or if I am looking old than my age.

So on this day I decided to look beautiful.

After lost in thought I waited till day break, so I brush my teeth, took my bath then dress up to my business place.

By the time I got there my sale girl has cleaned up the environment, remove the chairs outside and get ready for business of the day.

After checking that everything was in place, I picked up my phone I went to where I can buy attachments.

On my way going, I saw a long friend of my at a bus stop call plaza.

Plaza is a very busy area, is the center of Akwa ibom State, is a place that once you enter Akwa ibom State you must reach, alot of activities goes on here.

Before traders always hang around to sell fruit, clothes and food, this place was like a market, as the result of that the whole place was always looking dirty so the government came in and drove them away and now the place is very clean.

I was so happy to see him after a long time, he told me that he is now a police officer, so we exchanged contact.

Though I told him that I want to make my hair because I didn't want him to start asking me why I was so unkept.

After a long talk with my friend, I proceed to my destination.

In Akwa ibom State precisely uyo, there is a particular area call OKU STREET that deals on hairs at affordable prices or I should say at wholesale.

For a long time I have not plaited my hair so I don't have any knowledge of how they are selling attachments because I normally go on dreads.

My last dread, I carried it for over 2 years before I cut it and I started a fresh. So this new one is just 3 months old and is already getting long.

Reaching the area, I entee the first shop and I saw this attachment on my hand and the girl told me it was 10,000 approximately 133 Steem , I pleaded with her to reduce the price and she told me no.

I left the shop and while working I saw a big shop and I stop.

Then I entered the shop and I searched for the hair that will best suit me then the first hair I saw at the first shop catches my eyes and I asked them for the price, they told me it was 8,000 per pack which is about 106.6 Steem, I picked two packs so that it will full well on my head.

I picked two packs which was colours since my hair was a colour hair, so I ask the sales rep there if I can plait the attachment while on dreads and she says yes.

So I went ahead and made payment and I asked for my receipt.
This shops they sales alot of this which I will love to make a review about the shop but not on this particular post.

After making payment, some other things came across so I bought them though this one I didn't ask for the receipt again.

So the sale rep packed my goods and hand it over to me, then I find my way back to the shop.

So I stop a bus that will take me to my destination and we talk price then I entered.

After boarded the bus, it took me to my destination and I was happy.

Reaching my shop I called a salonist to come over to my shop and make my hair, then she came over she told me my price and I asked her to start plaiting my hair.

We started plaiting by 12 noon and by 4noon she was done with my hair.
I ask her to make my nails and lashes which she did very beautiful.

From the pictures above you will see when she started and when she finished and the packing of my hair because the pains was unbearable.
I don't know if it's because I am using dread.

When she finished I make food and eat because I was hungry and since morning I have not eaten anything.

The food that was available was rice and eggs so I ate that as my breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Since it was already getting late, I didn't stay long in my shop because of the pains, I had to close for the day and I went home, the pains was too much for me at a point I thought of losing the hair but when I considered the money spent already I decided to bear the pains which up till now I can get over it.

Reaching home I took my bath and I went straight to bed and as I woke up I picked up my phone and I decided to write here.

So guys this was how my day was spent and I think I look beautiful.
